54. Mr. Rosenstock (United States of America) said that his delegation shared the concerns expressed by Mexico, in the Special Committee’s report, concerning the consequences of the increase in the volume of cases before the International Court of Justice for the Court’s operation.
٥٤ - السيد روزنستوك )الولايات المتحدة اﻷمريكية(: قال إن وفده يشارك الشواغل التي أعربت عنها المكسيك في تقرير اللجنة الخاصة بشأن ما يترتب على ازدياد حجم القضايا المعروضة على محكمة العدل الدولية من نتائج عمل المحكمة.

The Secretary-General’s report on the consequences of the increase in the volume of cases before the International Court of Justice on the operation of the Court (A/53/326) was most instructive, both in the detail that the Court provided of its financial and human resource difficulties and its efforts to make its work more efficient.
٢٣ - ومضى يقول إن تقرير اﻷمين العام عن اﻵثار المترتبة على زيادة حجم القضايا المعروضة على محكمة العدل الدولية في عمل المحكمة A/53/326)( مفيد جدا من حيث التفاصيل التي قدمتها المحكمة عن الصعوبات المالية والصعوبات في الموارد البشرية التي تواجهها والجهود التي تبذلها لجعل أعمالها أكثر كفاءة.

73. Referring to the report of the Secretary-General on the consequences that the increase in the volume of cases before the International Court of Justice had on the operation of the Court (A/53/326), he pointed out that the Court did not operate the way other United Nations organs did and had limited possibilities to generate savings.
