In the meantime, the proposals to upgrade the current Centre for Women to the level of a Division responsible for subprogramme 6 and to upgrade the Section for Emerging and Conflict-related Issues to the level of a Division responsible for subprogramme 7, along with the related resources, have been put forward in anticipation of a favourable decision.
وفي انتظار ذلك، يجري العمل بمقترحي رفع مركز شؤون المرأة الحالي إلى مستوى شعبة تكون مسؤولة عن البرنامج الفرعي 6، ورفع قسم القضايا الناشئة والقضايا المتصلة بالنزاعات إلى مستوى شعبة تكون مسؤولة عن البرنامج الفرعي 7، مع ما يرتبط بذلك من موارد، وذلك ترقبا لصدور قرار إيجابي.

70. At the 45th meeting, on 16 July, the Director, Emerging and Conflict-related Issues Division, Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, introduced the note by the Secretary-General (A/69/81-E/2014/13).

Takes note of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia resolution on upgrading the Section for Emerging and Conflict-related Issues to the level of a division and establishing a governmental committee on emerging issues and development in conflict settings, as set out in the annex to the present resolution.
يحيط علما بقرار اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغرب آسيا المتعلق برفع قسم القضايا الناشئة والقضايا المتصلة بالنزاعات إلى مستوى شعبة وإنشاء لجنة حكومية معنية بالقضايا الناشئة والتنمية في حالات النزاع، بصيغته الواردة في مرفق هذا القرار.

Noting the adoption by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia at its twenty-sixth session, held in Beirut from 17 to 20 May 2010, of the resolution on upgrading the Section for Emerging and Conflict-related Issues to the level of a division and establishing a governmental committee on emerging issues and development in conflict settings,

The proposal for the additional posts is in response to the draft resolution of the Commission (E/ESCWA/RES/L.294) of 20 May 2010, wherein the Commission requests the secretariat of ESCWA to upgrade the Section for Emerging and Conflict-related Issues to the level of a division.
ويأتي الاقتراح الداعي إلى إنشاء الوظائف الإضافية استجابة لمشروع قرار اللجنة (E/ESCWA/RES/L.294) المؤرخ 20 أيار/مايو 2010، الذي تطلب فيه اللجنة إلى أمانة الإسكوا رفع مستوى قسم القضايا الناشئة والقضايا المتصلة بالنزاعات إلى مستوى شعبة.
