The special envoy to Iraq of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Member of Parliament Anne Clwyd, departed for Kuwait on 27 May to meet with senior government officials and local people to discuss, inter alia, the issue of the 605 missing Kuwaitis and third-country nationals whose fate remains unknown since the Gulf war in 1991.
