It had also promoted the ratification of the Decent Work for Domestic Workers Convention of the International Labour Organization, which had entered into force in September 2013.

The Committee recommends that the State party accede to ILO Domestic Workers Convention, 2011 (No. 189).

(h) To welcome the adoption of the Domestic Workers' Convention, 2011, and Recommendations, and urge all stakeholders to implement it, inter alia, by recognizing the importance and urgency of ensuring decent working conditions for domestic workers worldwide, the majority of whom are women, which will benefit them and their families;
(ح) الترحيب باعتماد اتفاقية العمال المنزليين لعام 2011، وتوصياتها، وحث جميع أصحاب المصلحة على تنفيذ ذلك، في جملة أمور، من خلال التعرف على أهمية وضرورة ضمان ظروف العمل اللائق للعمال المنزليين في جميع أنحاء العالم، الذين معظمهم من النساء، الأمر الذي سيعود بالنفع عليهم وعلى عائلاتهم؛

It hoped that New Zealand would consider ratifying the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (ICRMW) and International Labour Organization (ILO) Domestic Workers Convention, 2011 (No. 189).
