States, international organizations and professional and academic institutions should consider making available materials to the United Nations audio-visual library on international law proposed by the Advisory Committee on the United Nations Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law.
١٧ - وينبغي أن تدرس الدول والمنظمات الدولية والمؤسسات المهنية واﻷكاديمية إمكانية توفير المواد لمكتبة اﻷمم المتحدة السمعية - البصرية في القانون الدولي التي اقترحت إنشاءها اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تدريس القانون الدولي ودراسته ونشره وزيادة تفهمه.

The regional groups were holding consultations regarding the nomination of candidates for membership in the Advisory Committee on the United Nations Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law, for a term beginning on 1 January 1996.

١٦٤ - اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تدريس القانون الدولي ودراسته ونشره وزيادة تفهمه، الدورة الثلاثون ]قرار الجمعية العامة ٢٠٩٩ )د - ٢٠([

1. Approves the guidelines and recommendations contained in section III of the report of the Secretary-General and adopted by the Advisory Committee on the United Nations Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law, in particular those designed to achieve the best possible results in the administration of the Programme within a policy of maximum financial restraint;
١ - توافق على المبادئ التوجيهية والتوصيات الواردة في الفرع الثالث من تقرير اﻷمين العام، التي اعتمدتها اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تدريس القانون الدولي ودراسته ونشره وزيادة تفهمه، ولا سيما تلك التي تهدف الى تحقيق أفضل النتائج الممكنة في إدارة البرنامج في إطار سياسة تتبع أقصى قدر من الاقتصاد ماليا؛

16. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its fifty-second session on the implementation of the Programme during 1996 and 1997 and, following consultations with the Advisory Committee on the United Nations Programme of Assistance in the Teaching, Study, Dissemination and Wider Appreciation of International Law, to submit recommendations regarding the execution of the Programme in subsequent years;
١٦ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، تقريرا عن تنفيذ البرنامج خلال عامي ١٩٩٦ و ١٩٩٧ وأن يقدم، بعد اجراء مشاورات مع اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تدريس القانون الدولي ودراسته ونشره وزيادة تفهمه، توصيات بشأن تنفيذ البرنامج في السنوات اللاحقة؛

17. ١٧ - تطلب أيضا إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الرابعة والخمسين، تقريرا عن تنفيذ البرنامج خلال عامي ١٩٩٨ و ١٩٩٩ وأن يقدم، بعد إجراء مشاورات مع اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تدريس القانون الدولي ودراسته ونشره وزيادة تفهمه، توصيات بشأن تنفيذ البرنامج في السنوات اللاحقة؛

Paragraph 21 was new; he orally amended the footnote to the paragraph by adding the following States to the list of appointed members of the Advisory Committee on the Programme of Assistance: Argentina, Chile, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Sudan, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Republic of Tanzania.

Mr. Laseinde (Nigeria) said that his Government was pleased to be a member of the Advisory Committee on the Programme of Assistance which, since its establishment in 1965, had proved increasingly valuable to students and practitioners of international law throughout the world, and specifically in developing countries like his own.
1 - السيد لاسيندي (نيجيريا): قال إن عضوية نيجيريا في اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج الأمم المتحدة للمساعدة في تدريس القانون الدولي ودراسته ونشره وزيادة تفهمه، تشعر حكومته بالسعادة حيث برهن البرنامج بشكل متزايد منذ إنشائه في عام 1965 على قيمته الكبيرة لطلاّب وممارسي القانون الدولي في جميع أنحاء العالم، وبخاصة في البلدان النامية، كبلده.
