61. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 63/263, OIOS is responsible for reporting on the activities relating to the construction of additional office facilities at ECA in Addis Ababa and the United Nations Office at Nairobi.

Similar missions were organized in May 2008 to support the implementation of business continuity management in the Economic Commission for Africa, in Addis Ababa, and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, in Santiago.

Having considered the report of the Secretary-General on the construction of additional office facilities at the Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa and the related report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions,

2. Decides to approve the utilization of an amount of 7,711,800 United States dollars for the construction of additional office facilities at the Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa, to be financed within the available balance of the construction-in-progress account;
2 - تقرر الموافقة على استخدام مبلغ قدره 800 711 7 بدولارات الولايات المتحدة بغرض تشييد مرافق مكتبية إضافية في اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا بأديس أبابا يموّل من الرصيد المتاح من حساب التشييد قيد الإنجاز؛

It should also be recalled that, by its resolution 56/270 of 27 March 2002, the Assembly has already approved utilization of an amount of $7,711,800 for the construction of additional office facilities at the Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Adaba, to be financed within the available balance of the construction-in-progress account.
وتجدر الإشارة أيضا إلى أنّ الجمعية وافقت في قرارها 56/270 المؤرخ 27 آذار/مارس 2002 على استخدام مبلغ 800 711 1 دولار لتشييد مرافق إضافية للمكاتب في اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا بأديس أبابا، يموّل من الرصيد المتاح من حساب التشييد الجاري.

32. Lastly, she expressed her concern about the late availability of the oral reports of ACABQ and enquired when the Advisory Committee's report on the construction of additional office facilities at the Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa would be issued.
32 - واختتمت كلامها معربة عن قلقها إزاء التأخر في توفير التقارير الشفوية للجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية واستفسرت عن الوقت الذي سيصدر فيه تقرير اللجنة الاستشارية عن بناء مرافق مكتبية إضافية في اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا بأديس أبابا.

1. By its resolution 56/270, the General Assembly approved the construction of additional office facilities at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in Addis Ababa, with a total area of approximately 6,770 square metres, and the utilization of an amount of $7,711,800 for that purpose, to be financed within the available balance of the construction-in-progress account.
1 - وافقت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 56/270 على تشييد مرافق إضافية للمكاتب في مقر اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا بأديس أبابا، تبلغ مساحتها الكلية حوالي 770 6 مترا مربعا، واستخدام مبلغ 800 711 7 دولار لهذا الغرض، يُمول ضمن الرصيد المتوافر في حساب التشييد الجاري.
