The Secretary-General encourages the Government to promptly provide the information requested by the Committee and to engage in constructive dialogue with the treaty bodies as a critical mechanism for the review and improvement of human rights in the country.
ويشجع الأمين العام الحكومة على أن تبادر بتقديم المعلومات التي طلبتها اللجنة وأن تشارك في حوار بناء مع الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات حقوق الإنسان باعتبارها آلية بالغة الأهمية لاستعراض وتحسين حالة حقوق الإنسان في البلد.

This would help create greater awareness of the availability of redress by the Commission and provide easier access to the Commission.
ومن شأن ذلك أن يساعد على إيجاد مزيد من الوعي بتوفر سبل الانتصاف لدى اللجنة وأن يسهﱢل الاستفادة منها.

The General Assembly is aware that the Republic of South Africa has requested to become a full member of the Committee and that Namibia will soon do the same.
وتعلم الجمعية العامة أن جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا طلبت أن تصبح عضوا كامل العضوية في اللجنة وأن ناميبيا ستحذو حذوها قريبا.

There was even close and unusual attention given recently by the media to the work of the Committee, and this was something by which members were pleased and honoured.
وقال إن وسائط اﻹعلام أولت مؤخرا اهتماما قويا وغير عادي بعمل اللجنة وأن ذلك يسر أعضاء اللجنة ويشرفهم.

The resolution to be adopted at the current session should include an invitation to the six countries that currently had observer status to become full members of the Committee and to designate their scientific representatives.
والقرار الذي سيعتمد في الدورة الراهنة ينبغي أن يشمل دعوة إلى البلدان الست التي تحتل حاليا مركز المراقب لأن تصبح أعضاء كاملة العضوية في اللجنة وأن تعيّن ممثليها العلميين.

8. The Chair was requested to continue informal consultations with the members of the Committee and to report through the Committee to the General Assembly at its sixty-eighth session.
8 - طُلب إلى الرئيس أن يواصل مشاوراته غير الرسمية مع أعضاء اللجنة وأن يقدم تقريرا عن طريق اللجنة إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة والستين.

The Assembly invited the Inter-Agency Meeting to continue to contribute to the work of the Committee and to report to the Committee and its Scientific and Technical Subcommittee on the work conducted at its annual sessions.
ودعت الجمعية الاجتماع المشترك بين الوكالات المعني بأنشطة الفضاء الخارجي أن يواصل إسهامه في أعمال اللجنة وأن يقدّم إلى اللجنة ولجنتها الفرعية العلمية والتقنية تقريرا عن الأعمال التي يضطلع بها في دوراته السنوية.

11. The Chairman was requested to continue informal consultations with the members of the Committee and to report through the Committee to the General Assembly at its sixty-fourth session.
11 - طُلب إلى الرئيس أن يواصل مشاوراته غير الرسمية مع أعضاء اللجنة وأن يقدم تقريرا، عن طريق اللجنة، إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الرابعة والستين.

The resolution also requested the Secretary-General to continue to provide the Special Rapporteur with adequate assistance for periodic consultations with the Committee, and to ensure that her reports are brought to the Committee's attention.
وطلب القرار أيضا من الأمين العام أن يستمر في توفير المساعدة الكافية للمقررة الخاصة لإجراء مشاورات دورية مع اللجنة وأن يكفل عرض تقارير المقررة الخاصة على اللجنة.

According to the terms of reference of the Committee adopted by the Council, the Council is expected to adopt the agenda of topics to be discussed by the Committee and to approve its membership on the basis of proposals made by the Secretary-General.

8. The Chairman was requested to continue informal consultations with the members of the Committee and to report through the Committee to the General Assembly at its sixty-sixth session.
8 - طُلب إلى الرئيس أن يواصل مشاوراته غير الرسمية مع أعضاء اللجنة وأن يقدم تقريرا عن طريق اللجنة إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السادسة والستين.

The State party should strengthen the independence and capacity of the Commission and ensure that it is not restricted in its activities.
ويتعين على الدولة الطرف أن تعزز استقلالية وقدرات اللجنة وأن تكفل عدم فرض قيود على أنشطتها.

Such groups must also monitor activities of the Commission and provide honest feedback on progress.
ويتعين على هذه المنظمات أيضاً أن ترصد أنشطة اللجنة وأن تقدم معلومات صادقة عن التقدم المحرز.
