Given the importance of the issues discussed, the Committee requested the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to consider the possibility of organizing a workshop to identify key right to education benchmarks and indicators which might be utilized by the Committee and by other United Nations treaty bodies and human rights organs, and United Nations specialized agencies and programmes.

(d) Conduct comprehensive studies to identify the root causes of sex-selective abortion and of discrimination against women in the State party and provide, in its next report, yearly plans to combat sex-selective abortions, taking on board the recommendations in the interagency statement on preventing gender-biased sex selection by United Nations specialized agencies in 2011.
