It also recalls that in such situations the provisions of the Convention are complemented by the applicable international humanitarian, refugee and criminal law, as indicated in its general recommendation No. 30 on women in conflict prevention, conflict and post-conflict situations.
وتذكرها أيضا بأن أحكام الاتفاقية تُكَمَل في هذه الحالات بما ينطبق من أحكام القانون الإنساني الدولي والقانون الدولي للاجئين والقانون الجنائي الدولي، على النحو المبين في توصيتها العامة رقم 30 المتعلقة بوضع المرأة في سياق منع نشوب النزاعات، وفي حالات النزاع وما بعد النزاع.

10. In line with its general recommendation No. 30 on women in conflict prevention, conflict and post-conflict situations, the Committee calls upon the State party:
10 - تدعو اللجنة الدولة الطرف، عملاً بتوصيتها العامة رقم 30 المتعلقة بوضع المرأة في سياق منع نشوب النزاعات وفي حالات النزاع وما بعد انتهاء النزاع، إلى القيام بما يلي:

The European representative attends regular meetings and reports on the activities of the Council on the status of women in Geneva.

Documentation on the status of women in Mauritania has been assembled and distributed at international meetings, conference and seminars.
وقد جمّعت الوثائق المتعلقة بوضع المرأة في موريتانيا ووزعت في الاجتماعات والمؤتمرات والحلقات الدراسية الدولية.

6. Noting that the survey on the position of women in political parties had highlighted the parties' reluctance to put forward female candidates, she asked what was being done to encourage the parties to address the imbalance.
6 - ولاحظت أن الدراسة الاستقصائية المتعلقة بوضع المرأة في الأحزاب السياسية أبرزت امتناع الأحزاب عن التقدم بأسماء المرشحين من النساء، وتساءلت عن ماذا يتخذ لتشجيع الأحزاب على معالجة هذا الخلل.

The Committee encourages the State party to take effective measures, including through the use of the media and education, to eliminate traditional stereotypes regarding the status of women in the public and private spheres and to ensure effective gender equality in all fields, as required by article 2, paragraph 2, and article 3 of the Covenant.

In general, the State party should take the necessary practical steps to eradicate stereotypes regarding the position of women in society in general, and with regard to Roma women in particular.

51. Over a two-year process, UN-Women supported the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women in the development of its general recommendation No. 30 on women in conflict prevention, conflict and post-conflict situations, which the Committee adopted on 18 October 2013.

6. Additional indicators for the first two objectives were suggested, namely an increase in the participation of ministers in the meetings of the Commission on the Status of Women, improved indicators on the status of women in Member States and the establishment of specific mechanisms for the advancement of women.
