32. The Group noted the Unit's concern that an increasing number of legislative organs did not consider and discuss its reports, and therefore failed to act on the recommendations addressed to them.

30. Turning to procurement and contract management, the Group noted that the Board had reiterated a number of its previous recommendations.

The Group noted with satisfaction the initiative taken by the Chairman of the Security Council Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations to invite troop- and police-contributing countries and the Secretariat to exchange views and concerns regarding specific operations.
