712. On the basis of the information and evidence placed before it, the Special Committee has concluded that the situation of human rights in the occupied territories during the period covered by the present report has not improved and has in certain respects even deteriorated further.
٧١٢ - واستنادا الى المعلومات واﻷدلة المقدمة إلى اللجنة، خلصت اللجنة الخاصة الى أن حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في اﻷراضي المحتلة خلال الفترة التي تناولها هذا التقرير لم تتحسن بل قد زاد تدهورها في بعض النواحي.

782. On the basis of the information and evidence placed before it, the Special Committee has concluded that the situation of human rights in the occupied territories during the period covered by the present report has deteriorated remarkably since the beginning of the peace process, contrary to expectations.
٧٨٢ - وخلصت اللجنة الخاصة، استنادا الى المعلومات واﻷدلة المعروضة عليها، الى أن حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في اﻷراضي المحتلة خلال الفترة التي تناولها هذا التقرير قد تدهورت بشكل ملحوظ منذ بداية عملية السلام، وذلك خلافا لما كان متوقعا.

579. On the basis of the information and evidence placed before it, the Special Committee has concluded that the situation of human rights in the occupied territories during the period covered by the present report had deteriorated further. The testimony of the witnesses whom the Special Committee heard during its recent visit to the area concurred with this conclusion.
٥٧٩ - وخلصت اللجنة الخاصة، استنادا إلى المعلومات واﻷدلة المعروضة عليها، إلى أن حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في اﻷراضي المحتلة خلال الفترة التي تناولها هذا التقرير قد تدهورت أكثر، وإلى أن إفادات الشهود الذين مثلوا أمامها خلال زيارتها اﻷخيرة للمنطقة تتفق مع استنتاجها.

19. On 23 February, it was reported that the Government stood by its position that Israel should retain 64 per cent of the occupied territories during the interim phase of the implementation of the Oslo Accords as a bargaining chip for the final status negotiations.
١٩ - وفي ٢٣ شباط/فبراير، أفادت اﻷنباء أن الحكومة تتمسك بموقفها بأنه ينبغي ﻹسرائيل أن تحتفظ بنسبة ٦٤ في المائة من اﻷراضي المحتلة خلال المرحلة الانتقالية من تنفيذ الجزء المتعلق بالمساومة في اتفاقات أوسلو لمفاوضات الوضع النهائي.
