The creation of an enabling environment for gender equality and the empowerment of Palestinian women requires ending discrimination against Palestinian women in the labour market, through both legal and policy measures, including eliminating occupational segregation and gender wage gaps.
وإيجاد مناخ ملائم لتحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين المرأة الفلسطينية يستدعي إنهاء التمييز ضد المرأة الفلسطينية في سوق العمالة، من خلال تدابير قانونية وسياسية على حد سواء، تشمل إلغاء التفرقة الوظيفية وردم الهوة في المرتبات بين الجنسين.

With those objectives in mind, organizations of the United Nations system will continue to assist Palestinian women to increase their capabilities to participate fully and equally in the peace process and to build and develop Palestinian society.
