The International Monitoring Committee, respecting the spirit of the Bangui Agreements, proposed that the Central African Republic should, by a legislative act, formally renounce proceedings against authors of offences identified by the parliamentary audit.
واقترحت اللجنة الدولية لمتابعة اتفاقات بانغي، تمسكا منها بروح اتفاقات بانغي، أن تتخلى رسميا دولة أفريقيا الوسطى بموجب اجراء قانوني عن متابعة مرتكبي الجرائم التي كشفت عنها المراجعة البرلمانية للحسابات.

The purpose of these meetings was to prepare for the implementation of the remaining stages of the timetable, in particular regarding the situation of former Presidents and the suspension of the parliamentary audit.

٢٦ - تنص اتفاقات بانغي على تعليق " التنفيذ القضائي لتقرير المراجعة البرلمانية للحسابات " الموجهة ضد المرتكبين المزعومين لاختلاسات اﻷموال العامة تحت النظام السابق، ثم التخلي عنه، ذلك أنه كان من المفهوم أن مراجعة الحسابات تمت بطريقة " انتقائية " للغاية وأنها سببت من المشاكل أكثر مما وفرت من الحلول.
