(a) Endorse, with any amendments, the table for listing notifications of constituents of articles in use pursuant to note (ii) of Annex A and note (ii) of Annex B of the Stockholm Convention contained in annex I to the present note;

The pesticide 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2-bis(4-chlorophenyl)ethane (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane - DDT) is covered by Annex B of the Stockholm Convention in consideration of its importance for malaria vector control in many tropical countries and is in the subject of separate technical guidelines (UNEP, 2006a).
ومبيدات الآفات 1، 1،1-ثلاثي كلورو-2،مضاعف (4-كلوروفينول) الإيثان (ثنائي الكلور ثنائي الفينيل ثلاثي كلورو الإيثان- دي دي تي) يغطيها المرفق باء لاتفاقية استكهولم بالنظر إلى أهميتها لمكافحة ناقل الملاريا في الكثير من البلدان المدارية وهي موضع مبادئ توجيهية تقنية مستقلة (برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة، 2006أ).

Paragraph 1 of part II of Annex B tof the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants states that:
