30. Regarding navigation, pursuant to the Convention, other States enjoy the right of innocent passage through the territorial sea.
30 - وفيما يتعلق بالملاحة، تنص الاتفاقية على تمتع سائر الدول بحق المرور البريء عبر البحر الإقليمي.

We believe that the freedom of overflight, rights of innocent passage through territorial seas, transit passages through international straits and archipelagic sea lanes passage should be explicitly acknowledged.

The Customs and Excise Management Act (1979) gives Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs and Border Force officers, police, coast guard or armed forces the power (subject to rights of innocent passage through territorial waters under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea) to stop and search vehicles or vessels on suspicion of carrying prohibited goods.

7. The view was expressed that, as had been proposed by the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics several years before, a delimitation of outer space could be established at an altitude of 100-110 kilometres above mean sea level and that space objects might enjoy the right of innocent passage through foreign airspace during launching and return to the Earth.
7- وأُعرب عن رأي بأنه حسبما كان قد اقترح اتحاد الجمهوريات السوفياتية الاشتراكية السابق قبل عدة سنوات مضت، يمكن تقرير حد للفضاء الخارجي على ارتفاع يتراوح بين 100 كيلومتر و110 كيلومترات فوق متوسط سطح البحر، وأنه يجوز أن تتمتع الأجسام الفضائية بحق المرور البريء عبر الفضاء الجوي الأجنبي أثناء الإطلاق والعودة إلى الأرض.

These obligations relate to all laws and regulations adopted by the coastal State relating to innocent passage through the territorial sea (article 21 (3)) and all laws and regulations adopted by States bordering straits relating to transit passage through straits used for international navigation (article 42 (3)).

No State submitted new information regarding articles 21 and 42 of UNCLOS since last year’s report.

(b) Article 23 allows nuclear-powered ships and ships carrying nuclear or other inherently dangerous or noxious substances to exercise the right of innocent passage through the territorial sea, specifying that they must carry documents and observe special precautionary measures established for such ships by international agreements;
