The General Assembly, in its resolutions 51/64, section II, and 52/92, section II, of 12 December 1997, requested UNDCP to continue to provide legal assistance to Member States that request it in adjusting their national laws, policies and infrastructure to implement the international drug control conventions, as well as assistance in training personnel responsible for applying the new laws.
22 - طلبت الجمعية العامة في الفرع ثانيا من قرارها 51/64، وفي الفرع ثانيا من قرارها 52/92 المؤرخ 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1997، الى اليوندسيب أن يواصل تقديم المساعدة القانونية الى الدول الأعضاء التي تطلبها لدى قيامها بتعديل قوانينها وسياساتها وهياكلها الأساسية الوطنية من أجل تنفيذ الاتفاقيات الدولية لمكافحة المخدرات، فضلا عن مساعدتها في تدريب الموظفين المسؤولين عن تطبيق القوانين الجديدة.

The two organizations have also cooperated in the implementation of the Lagos Plan of Action and the follow-up to the Regional Conference of Ministers responsible for the application of Science and Technology to Development in Africa (CASTAFRICA).
