I am pleased to announce that six UN agencies have launched, at this conference, the " Nairobi Framework " , a plan to support developing countries, especially in Africa, participate in the Clean Development Mechanism.

For one country, capacity-building in the area of participation in the CDM enabled it to raise the awareness of the CDM process, resulting in the country's ratification of the Kyoto Protocol at the end of 2008.
وفي أحد البلدان، أدى بناء القدرات في مجال المشاركة في آلية التنمية النظيفة إلى تمكينه من زيادة التوعية بعملية آلية التنمية النظيفة، الأمر الذي أدى إلى تصديق البلد على بروتوكول كيوتو في نهاية عام 2008.

Requests the Executive Board to broaden participation in the clean development mechanism, including through meetings with a designated national authority forum on a regular basis, in conjunction with meetings of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol and its subsidiary bodies;
36- يطلب إلى المجلس التنفيذي أن يوسع المشاركة في آلية التنمية النظيفة بطرق منها عقد اجتماعات دورية لمنتدى يضم سلطة وطنية معينة، بالاقتران مع اجتماعات مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو وهيئتيه الفرعيتين؛

Parties participating in the CDM shall designate a national authority for the CDM.
29- تعين الأطراف المشاركة في آلية التنمية النظيفة سلطة وطنية لآلية التنمية النظيفة.

[In the absence of formal land property, tenure or use rights, recognized customary or access rights to the land should be a sufficient condition for low-income communities and individuals to participate in the CDM.
