(i) To advise the Assembly on the appropriateness of accounting policies and disclosure practices and to assess changes and risks in those policies;
(ط) إسداء المشورة إلى الجمعية بخصوص مدى ملاءمة السياسات المحاسبية وممارسات الكشف المتبعة وتقييم التغييرات التي تجرى على تلك السياسات وما تنطوي عليه من مخاطر؛

(b) To advise the Assembly on measures to ensure the compliance of management with audit and other oversight recommendations;

In accordance with the terms of reference of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee as contained in the annex to resolution 61/275, the responsibilities of the Committee are to advise the General Assembly on the scope, results and effectiveness of audit as well as other oversight functions, and to advise the Assembly on measures to ensure the compliance of management with audit and other oversight recommendations.
وتمشيا واختصاصات اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة، بصيغتها الواردة في مرفق القرار 61/275، تتمثل مسؤوليات اللجنة في إسداء المشورة إلى الجمعية العامة بشأن نطاق المراجعة، ونتائجها، ومدى فعاليتها، إلى جانب مهام رقابية أخرى، وإسداء المشورة إلى الجمعية بخصوص التدابير الرامية إلى كفالة امتثال الإدارة للتوصيات التي تتمخض عنها مراجعة الحسابات وغيرها من توصيات الرقابة.

3. In accordance with the terms of reference for the Independent Audit Advisory Committee as contained in the annex to resolution 61/275, the responsibilities of the Committee are to advise the General Assembly on the scope, results and effectiveness of audit as well as other oversight functions, and to advise the Assembly on measures to ensure the compliance of management with audit and other oversight recommendations.
3 - وتماشيا مع اختصاصات اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة، كما وردت في مرفق القرار 61/275، تتمثل مسؤوليات اللجنة في إسداء المشورة إلى الجمعية العامة بشأن نطاق المراجعة، ونتائجها، ومدى فعاليتها، إلى جانب مهام رقابية أخرى، وإسداء المشورة إلى الجمعية بخصوص التدابير الرامية إلى كفالة امتثال الإدارة للتوصيات التي تتمخض عنها مراجعة الحسابات وغيرها من توصيات الرقابة.

D. Risk management and internal control framework 44. Paragraphs 2 (f) and (g) of the terms of reference specifically mandate that the Independent Audit Advisory Committee advise the Assembly on the quality and overall effectiveness of risk management procedures and advise the Assembly on deficiencies in the internal control framework of the United Nations.
