1. In December 2007, by its resolution 6/27, the Human Rights Council reviewed and renewed the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing as a component of the right to an adequate standard of living, and on the right to nondiscrimination in this context.

Also at the 27th meeting, the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing as a component of the right to an adequate standard of living, and on the right to nondiscrimination in this context made a presentation and engaged in a dialogue with the representatives of Chile, Norway, Brazil, Malaysia, Algeria, Indonesia, Germany, Switzerland and the European Union.
