وتجدر اﻹشارة إلى أن الجانب القبرصي اليوناني الذي ادعى في البداية أن عدد مفقوديه يناهز ٠٠٠ ٣ شخص ثم عاد وخفض هذا الرقم إلى ٦١٩ ١ شخصا، قصر حتى عن تقديم ملفات ذلك العدد اﻷخير إلى اللجنة المعنية بالمفقودين في قبرص.
