For the information of delegates, he briefly reviewed the mandate and work programme of the WTO Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy and the topics that had been discussed in the Working Group so far.
واستعرض بإيجاز، لعلم الوفود، ولاية فريق منظمة التجارة العالمية العامل المعني بالتفاعل المتبادل بين التجارة وسياسات المنافسة وبرنامج عمله والموضوعات التي بحثها حتى اﻵن.

In line with the Singapore Declaration, UNCTAD has been represented in the Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy in an observer capacity, and it has cooperated to the fullest extent in ensuring that the development dimension is taken fully into account.
وتمشياً مع إعلان سنغافورة، فقد تم تمثيل الأونكتاد في الفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين التجارة وسياسة المنافسة بصفة مراقب، وتعاون تعاوناً كاملاً في ضمان مراعاة البعد الإنمائي مراعاة كاملة.

The report does not deal with the concept of a possible multilateral framework on competition within the WTO which had formerly been discussed by the WTO Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy.
ولا يتناول التقرير مفهوم الإطار المتعدد الأطراف المحتمل بشأن المنافسة داخل منظمة التجارة العالمية الذي سبق للفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين سياسة التجارة والمنافسة والتابع لمنظمة التجارة العالمية أن ناقشه.

To this end, the WTO secretariat has organized, in cooperation with other intergovernmental organizations, special events to facilitate the participation of developing countries in the work programme of the Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy.

In the period until the Fifth WTO Ministerial Conference, further work in the WTO Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy will focus inter alia on modalities for voluntary cooperation.

53. The World Trade Organization carries out technical assistance activities in the area of competition policy, focusing on activities that will assist WTO members to participate fully in the work of the WTO Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy.
٣٥- وتقوم منظمة التجارة العالمية بتنفيذ أنشطة المساعدة التقنية في مجال سياسة المنافسة مركﱢزة على اﻷنشطة التي تساعد أعضاء المنظمة في المشاركة بالكامل في عمل الفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين التجارة وسياسة المنافسة التابع للمنظمة.

66. The UNCTAD secretariat participated in the WTO Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy, which met in Geneva in April, July, September and November 2002.
66- وشاركت أمانة الأونكتاد في اجتماعات الفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين التجارة وسياسات المنافسة التابع لمنظمة التجارة العالمية، المعقودة في جنيف في نيسان/أبريل، وتموز/يوليه، وأيلول/سبتمبر وتشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2002.

40. During the year, the secretariat also organized a Symposium on Trade and Competition Policy for Geneva-based and capital-based delegates attending the April meeting of the WTO Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy in Geneva.
40- وخلال العام نفسه، نظمت الأمانة أيضاً ندوة بشأن سياسة التجارة والمنافسة للمندوبين المتمركزين في جنيف وفي العواصم ممن كانوا سيحضرون الاجتماع الذي كان الفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين سياسة التجارة والمنافسة والتابع لمنظمة التجارة العالمية سيعقده في جنيف في نيسان/أبريل.

The report of the Group would contribute to the discussions to take place in other forums, such as the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and the World Trade Organization's Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy, whose meeting was being held back to back with the present session, on 5 and 6 July.
وأشار إلى أن تقرير الفريق سيسهم في المناقشات التي ستجري في محافل أخرى، مثل منظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي والفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين التجارة وسياسات المنافسة التابع لمنظمة التجارة العالمية، الذي سيعقب اجتماعه هذه الدورة مباشرة، في 5 و6 تموز/يوليه.

In this spirit, Viet Nam became a member of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia in 2010.
وبهذه الروح، أصبحت فييت نام عضوا في المؤتمر المعني بالتفاعل وتدابير بناء الثقة في آسيا في عام 2010.
