Having reviewed the proposal for the establishment of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the proposed nature and the objectives of the Conference, as set forth in the annex to this resolution,
وبعد أن استعرضت مقترح إنشاء المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، والطبيعة المقترحة لهذا المؤتمر، وأهدافه على النحو المبين في مرفق هذا القرار،

3. Decides to convene the first session of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean during the second half of 2015;
٣ - تقرر عقد الدورة الأولى للمؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي خلال النصف الثاني من عام 2015؛

Establishment of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean

I. Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean
أولا - المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي التابع للجنة الاقتصادية لأمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي

6. The secretariat of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean shall serve as the secretariat for the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
6 - تتولى أمانة اللجنة الاقتصادية لأمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي مهام أمانة المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي.

6. The Commission endorsed the Manila Declaration on Accelerated Implementation of the Agenda for Action on Social Development in the ESCAP Region, as adopted at the Fifth Asian and Pacific Ministerial Conference on Social Development, on 11 November 1997.
٦ - أيﱠدت اللجنة إعلان مانيلا بشأن التعجيل بتنفيذ برنامج العمل المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في منطقة اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية ﻵسيا والمحيط الهادئ، بالصيغة التي تم اعتمادها في المؤتمر الوزاري الخامس ﻵسيا والمحيط الهادئ المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية والمعقود في ١١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٧.

a. Commission. Annual reports on issues related to social development; report of the Senior Officials’ Meeting on the Agenda for Action on Social Development in the ESCAP Region; and a report on the outcome of the high-level intergovernmental meeting to review the regional implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action;
أ - اللجنة - تقارير عن القضايا المتصلة بالتنمية الاجتماعية، تقرير عن اجتماع كبار الموظفين بشأن برنامج العمل المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في منطقة اللجنة؛ وتقرير عن نتائج الاجتماع الحكومي الدولي الرفيع المستوى المعقود لاستعراض التنفيذ اﻹقليمي لمنهاج عمل بيجين؛

c. Intergovernmental high-level meeting on progress in the regional implementation of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and the Agenda for Action on Social Development in the ESCAP Region. Two reports on issues relating to the Agenda for Action on Social Development in the ESCAP Region;
ج - الاجتماع الحكومي الدولي الرفيع المستوى بشأن التقدم المحرز في التنفيذ اﻹقليمي ﻹعلان كوبنهاغن بشأن التنمية الاجتماعية وبرنامج العمل بشأن التنمية الاجتماعية في منطقة اللجنة - تقريران عن القضايا المتصلة ببرنامج العمل المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في منطقة اللجنة؛

Endorses the establishment of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, as set out in resolution 682 (XXXV) and its annex.
يؤيد إنشاء المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، على النحو المبين في القرار 682 (د-35) ومرفقه.

1. The Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean shall be a subsidiary body of the Commission that will contribute to the progress of social development policies and activities in the countries of the region.
1 - سيكون المؤتمرُ الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي التابع للجنة الاقتصادية لأمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي هيئةً فرعية تابعة للجنة تساهم في الدفع قدماً بالسياسات والأنشطة المتعلقة بالتنمية الاجتماعية في بلدان المنطقة.

9. At the beginning of each meeting of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Chair of the Presiding Officers, in consultation with the Presiding Officers and the Conference, shall draw up a proposal for the election of the next Presiding Officers.
9 - في بداية كل اجتماع للمؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، يقدّم رئيس هيئة الرئاسة، بالتشاور مع أعضاء هيئة الرئاسة والمؤتمر، اقتراحا بشأن انتخاب أعضاء هيئة الرئاسة التالية.

(a) To carry out the tasks assigned to them by the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean;
(أ) الاضطلاع بالمهام التي أسندها إليهم المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي؛

(b) To follow up on the implementation of the agreements adopted and the tasks assigned by the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean;
(ب) متابعة تنفيذ الاتفاقات التي اعتمدها المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي والمهام التي أسندها؛

Endorses the establishment of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, as set out in resolution 682 (XXXV) of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and the annex thereto, as follows.
يؤيد إنشاء المؤتمر الإقليمي المعني بالتنمية الاجتماعية في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، على النحو المبين في القرار 682 (د-35) للجنة الاقتصادية لأمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي ومرفقه، على النحو التالي.
