Summary This strategy for the period 2008-2011 was prepared in response to Commission on Narcotic Drugs resolution 48/14, in which the Commission urged the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to continue to develop an overarching strategy, in consultation with Member States.
أُعدِّت هذه الاستراتيجية للفترة 2008-2011 استجابة لقرار لجنة المخدرات 48/14 الذي حثّت فيه اللجنة مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة على أن يمضي في وضع استراتيجية جامعة، بالتشاور مع الدول الأعضاء.

In its resolution 48/14, the Commission urged the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to continue to develop an overarching strategy, in consultation with Member States for the consideration of the Commission; and requested the Secretariat to present to it, at its forty-ninth session, a progress report on that matter.
وفي قرارها 48/14 حثّت اللجنة مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة على أن يواصل العمل على وضع استراتيجية جامعة بالتشاور مع الدول الأعضاء لتنظر فيها اللجنة، وطلبت إلى الأمانة أن تقدم إليها في دورتها التاسعة والأربعين تقريرا عن التقدم المحرز في تلك المسألة.
