The Commission on Science and Technology for Development reiterated its support for the cooperation with the Commission on Sustainable Development that had taken place within the context of the Panel on Science and Technology for Integrated Land Management, and noted that that cooperation had also been welcomed by the Commission on Sustainable Development.

The Commission highlighted the useful cooperation and collaboration with the Commission on Science and Technology for Development through its Panel on Science and Technology for Integrated Land Management, which provided an important input into the discussions of the Ad Hoc Inter-sessional Working Group on Sectoral Issues.
