In accordance with Economic and Social Council decision 2014/219, the Secretary-General has the honour to transmit the report of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information.

24. The Statistics Division organized a consultative meeting of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information, on 25 October 2014 in Beijing.
٢٤ - نظمت شعبة الإحصاءات اجتماعا استشاريا لفريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية، في 25 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2014 في بيجين.

26. The participation of more than 200 senior leaders, from both national statistical offices and national geospatial information authorities of 73 countries, in the first Global Forum on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information attests the importance and relevance of the integration of statistical and geospatial information.
٢٦ - تشهد مشاركة أكثر من 200 من كبار المسؤولين، من كل من المكاتب الإحصائية الوطنية والسلطات الوطنية المعنية بالمعلومات الجغرافية المكانية من 73 بلدا، في المنتدى العالمي الأول المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية على أهمية وجدوى تكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية.

The Global Forum welcomed future meetings of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information, and stressed that it was imperative that the professional statistical community, in partnership with relevant national geospatial information authorities, remain fully engaged in the work of the Expert Group.
ورحب المنتدى العالمي بالاجتماعات المقبلة لفريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية والمكانية، وشدد على أنه لا بد من أن يبقي مجتمع المتخصصين في الإحصاءات على التزامه التام بالمساهمة في شراكة مع السلطات المعنية بالمعلومات الجغرافية المكانية في العمل الذي يقوم به فريق الخبراء.

30. The Statistical Commission is invited to take note of the progress of work of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information.
٣٠ - واللجنة الإحصائية مدعوة إلى الإحاطة علما بالتقدم المحرز في عمل فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية.

It had before it a note by the Secretary-General transmitting the report of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information (E/CN.3/2014/31 and Corr.1).
وكان معروضا عليها مذكرة من الأمين العام يحيل بها تقرير فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والمكانية (E/CN.3/2014/31 و Corr.1).

35. At its 6th meeting, on 7 March, the Commission took note of the note by the Secretary-General transmitting the report of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information (E/CN.3/2014/31 and Corr.1) (see chap. I, sect. B, decision 45/116).
35 - وفي الجلسة السادسة، المعقودة في 7 آذار/مارس، أحاطت اللجنة علما بالمذكرة المقدمة من الأمين العام التي يحيل بها تقرير فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والمكانية (E/CN.3/2014/31 و Corr.1) (انظر الفصل الأول، الفرع باء، المقرر 45/116).

In August 2014, the Committee convened the Global Forum on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information to reach out and develop best practices among both statistical and geospatial professional communities.
وفي آب/أغسطس 2014، عقدت اللجنة المنتدى المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية الذي يهدف إلى مدّ جسور التواصل بين كل من الأوساط المهنية الإحصائية وأوساط المعلومات الجغرافية والمكانية، والجمع بينهما وتحديد أفضل الممارسات القائمة في هذ الصدد.

3. Pursuant to Statistical Commission decision 44/101, the Statistics Division established the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information in 2013, comprising members of both the statistical and geospatial professional communities of Member States.
3 - وعملا بمقرر اللجنة الإحصائية 44/101، أنشأت شعبة الإحصاءات في عام 2013، فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية، ويضم هذا الفريق أعضاء من كلا المجتمعين المذكورين في الدول الأعضاء.

At its current session, the Commission will consider the report of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information (E/CN.3/2015/37).
وستنظر اللجنة في دورتها الحالية في تقرير فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية (E/CN.3/2015/37).

19. With regard to future activities of the Committee of Experts, as mentioned earlier, its fourth session will be held in New York from 4 to 6 August 2014 in conjunction with the international conference on the Integration of statistical and geospatial information.
19 - وفيما يتعلق بأنشطة لجنة الخبراء في المستقبل، فإن دورتها الرابعة ستُعقد، كما سبقت الإشارة، في نيويورك، في الفترة من 4 إلى 6 آب/أغسطس 2014 بالتزامن مع المؤتمر الدولي المعني بتكامل المعلومات الجغرافية المكانية والإحصائية.

A report of the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information provides information about the main findings of recent meetings, the review of its work programme and the establishment of plans for future progress (E/CN.3/2015/37).
ويتضمن تقرير فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية معلومات عن النتائج الرئيسية التي انتهت إليها الاجتماعات الأخيرة، واستعراض برنامج عمله، ووضع خطط لتحقيق التقدم في المستقبل (E/CN.3/2015/37).

(a) Reviewed the summary report of the Global Forum on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information (and discussed its implications for the work programme of the Expert Group; potential new work programme items were identified and will be considered at the next Expert Group meeting in 2015;
(أ) استعرض التقرير الموجز المتعلق بأعمال المنتدى العالمي المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية وناقش الآثار المترتبة على برنامج عمل فريق الخبراء؛ والبنود المحتملة لبرنامج العمل الجديد التي ستتم مناقشتها في الاجتماع المقبل لفريق الخبراء في عام 2015؛

(c) The Committee recognized the need to partner with other communities and agreed to actively engage with groups such as the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information, established under the auspices of the Global Geospatial Information Management initiative, and the Global Working Group on Big Data for Official Statistics, in particular its task team on satellite imagery.
(ج) أقرت اللجنة بضرورة إقامة شراكات مع أوساط أخرى واتفقت على العمل بنشاط مع أفرقة مثل فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية الذي أنشئ برعاية مبادرة إدارة المعلومات الجغرافية المكانية على النطاق العالمي، والفريق العامل العالمي المعني باستخدام البيانات الضخمة لأغراض الإحصاءات الرسمية، ولا سيما فرقة العمل التابعة له المعنية بالصور الساتلية.

5. In accordance with Statistical Commission decision 44/101 and Committee of Experts decision 3/107, the Statistics Division, in collaboration with the Expert Group on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information, convened the first Global Forum on the Integration of Statistical and Geospatial Information in New York on 4 and 5 August 2014, in conjunction with the fourth session of the Committee of Experts.
٥ - وفقا لمقرر اللجنة الإحصائية 44/101 ومقرر لجنة الخبراء 3/107، دعت شعبة الإحصاءات، بالتعاون مع فريق الخبراء المعني بتكامل المعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية، المنتدى العالمي الأول المعني بالمعلومات الإحصائية والجغرافية المكانية إلى الانعقاد في نيويورك يومي 4 و 5 آب/أغسطس 2014، وذلك بالتزامن مع موعد عقد الدورة الرابعة للجنة الخبراء.
