Besides, it is very important that an official visit be made by the Special Rapporteurs concerned to Israel and to the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, as well as to the other occupied Arab territories in order to examine the question of racial discrimination, racial hatred and religious intolerance against Muslims there.

10. The Special Rapporteurs on new communications and interim measures, Sir Nigel Rodley and Mr. Walter Kälin, registered 95communications during the reporting period and transmitted them to the States parties concerned, and issued 10 decisions calling for interim measures of protection pursuant to rule 92 of the Committee's rules of procedure.

96. Regarding cooperation with special procedures mechanisms, the Special Rapporteur on torture visited Togo in 2007, and a joint mission of the United Nations and the African Union's Special Rapporteurs on the situation of human rights defenders visited Togo in 2008.
96- وفيما يتعلق بالتعاون مع آليات الإجراءات الخاصة، شهدت توغو في عام 2007، زيارة المقرر الخاص المعني بمسألة التعذيب، واستقبلت في عام 2008، البعثة المشتركة بين الأمم المتحدة والاتحاد الأفريقي التي قادها المقرران الخاصان المعنيان بحالة المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان.

81. At the 11th meeting, on 7 August 2001, Mr. Joseph Oloka-Onyango and Ms. Deepika Udagama, Special Rapporteurs on the issue of globalization and its impact on the full enjoyment of all human rights, presented their joint progress report (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2001/10).
81- وفي الجلسة الحادية عشرة، المعقودة في 7 آب/أغسطس 2001 قدم السيد جوزيف أولوكا - أونيانغو والسيدة دبيكا أوداغاما، المقرران الخاصان المعنيان بمسألة العولمة وأثرها على التمتع الكامل بجميع حقوق الإنسان تقريرهما الأولي المشترك (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2001/10).

(a) The paper entitled " Oil palm and other commercial tree plantations, monocropping: impacts on indigenous peoples' land tenure and resource management systems and livelihoods " (E/C.19/2007/CRP.6), prepared by the Special Rapporteurs on the subject, Victoria Tauli-Corpuz and Parshuram Tamang.

11. The Special Rapporteurs for follow-up on Views, Mr. Krister Thelin and Mr. Yuji Iwasawa, and the Special Rapporteurs for follow-up on concluding observations, Ms. Christine Chanet, and Mr. Fabián Salvioli continued to carry out their functions during the reporting period.

The Special Rapporteurs for follow-up on Views, Ms. Ruth Wedgwood (during the 100th session) and Mr. Krister Thelin (during the 101st and 102nd sessions), and the Special Rapporteurs for follow-up on concluding observations, Mr. Abdelfattah Amor (during the 100th session) and Ms. Chanet (during the 101st and 102nd sessions), continued to carry out their functions during the reporting period.
