1. In 2014, for the seventh consecutive year, the group of States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention carried out its work.

1. In 2013, for the sixth year in a row, the group of States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention carried out its work.
1- أنجزت مجموعة الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية عملها في عام 2013 للسنة السادسة على التوالي.

The States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention (hereafter referred to as the " analysing group " ) noted that completion of Article 5 implementation during the requested extension period has the potential of making a significant contribution to improving human safety and socio-economic conditions in Serbia.

15. Also in the context of its consideration of the general status and operation of the Convention, the Meeting considered a report presented by the President of the Eleventh Meeting of the States Parties on behalf of the States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention on " Reflections on the Article 5 Extension Process " , as contained in APLC/MSP.12/2012/4.
15- وفي سياق نظر الاجتماع أيضاً في وضع الاتفاقية وسير عملها بوجه عام، تم النظر في تقرير قدمه رئيس الاجتماع الحادي عشر للدول الأطراف باسم الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية بعنوان " أفكار بشأن عملية التمديد بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية " ، على النحو الوارد في الوثيقة APLC/MSP.12/2012/4.

The States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention (hereafter referred to as the " analysing group " ) noted that progress since entry into force had been modest and that a lack of detail on annual rates of progress made it difficult to analyse the degree to which the effort had been constant or sporadic.

"
4- ولاحظت الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية (المشار إليها أدناه ﺑ " فريق التحليل " ) أنه بينما تتطابق مساحة اﻟ 369 228 213 متراً مربعاً التي " تبقى " مع ما أشار إليه الطلب كمناطق لا تزال تحتاج إلى معالجة، فإن هناك لبساً يتعلق بوضع المنطقة التي وصفت بأن العمل " يُجرى " فيها.

3. The States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention (hereafter referred to as the " analysing group " ) noted that through the submission of a request for an extended deadline, Niger demonstrated its commitment to adhere to the obligations enshrined in Article 5 of the Convention and the decisions of the States Parties relating to the discovery of previously unknown mined areas.
3- وأشارت الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية (يُشار إليها فيما يلي باسم " فريق التحليل " ) إلى أن النيجر برهن، من خلال تقديم طلب تمديد الأجل المحدد، على تمسكه بالالتزامات المكرسة في المادة 5 من الاتفاقية وبقرارات الدول الأطراف بشأن اكتشاف مناطق ملغومة لم تكن معروفة في السابق.

The States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention (hereafter referred to as " the analysing group " ) noted that while Yemen indicated that its new original contamination includes 1,398 mined areas totalling 1,176,561,296 square meters there is a discrepancy concerning this new original contamination and the number of mined areas indicated above.
ولاحظت الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية (المشار إليها فيما يلي ب " فريق التحليل " ) أنه رغم إشارة اليمن إلى أن مناطقه الجديدة الملوثة أصلاً بالألغام تتمثل في 398 1 منطقة ملغومة تبلغ مساحتها الكلية 296 561 176 1 متراً مربعاً، يوجد تضارب فيما يتعلق بهذه المناطق الجديدة الملوثة أصلاً وعدد المناطق الملغومة المشار إليها أعلاه.

6. The States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention (hereafter referred to as " the analysing group " ) noted with satisfaction that Eritrea is employing the full range of methods to permit the safe return of land to the population and encouraged Eritrea to continue seeking improved land release methods which could lead to Eritrea fulfilling its obligations in a shorter time frame.
6- ولاحظت الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية (يُشار إليها فيما يلي باسم " مجموعة التحليل " ) بارتياح أن إريتريا تتبع جميع الأساليب التي تتيح إعادة الأراضي إلى السكان بشكل آمن، وشجعت هذه الدول إريتريا على مواصلة التماس الأساليب المحسَّنة للإفراج عن الأراضي، مما يمكِّن إريتريا من تنفيذ التزاماتها في فترة زمنية أقصر.
