60. The United States expressed concern over discrimination against women and girls and the fact that the level of domestic violence remained high, but was encouraged by increasing rates of prosecution and conviction for child abuse, domestic violence, rape and incest.
60- وأعربت الولايات المتحدة عن القلق إزاء التمييز ضد النساء والفتيات ومستوى العنف المنزلي الذي ما زال عالياً، وإن وجدت تشجيعاً من زيادة معدلات الملاحقة القضائية والإدانة في حالات إيذاء الطفل والعنف المنزلي والاغتصاب وزنى المحارم.

27- وفي هذا الرأي، يعرب الفريق العامل عن قلقه إزاء الاستنتاج، المدعوم بآراء حديثة أخرى، منها الرأي رقم 25/2014 (البحرين) والرأي رقم 37/2014 (البحرين)، بأن استخدام الاعترافات كأدلة لأغراض الملاحقة القضائية والإدانة أمر شائع في نظام التحقيق المعتمد حالياً في البحرين.
