Following the elections in December 2011 and the repeat elections in February 2012 and February 2013, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Côte d'Ivoire certified on 20 February 2013 that all stages of the legislative elections had provided the necessary guarantees for open, free, fair and transparent elections.
