8. Welcomes the emphasis placed by the meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies on the importance of technical assistance and advisory services and, further to this end:
٨ ـ ترحب بتأكيد اجتماع رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب صكوك حقوق اﻹنسان على أهمية المساعدة التقنية والخدمات الاستشارية، كما أنها تحقيقا لهذه الغاية:

12. Invites the persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies at their next meeting to consider means of ensuring information exchange and cooperation among the treaty bodies regarding their practice relating to the human rights of women;
٢١ ـ تدعو رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب صكوك حقوق اﻹنسان إلى النظر في اجتماعهم القادم في سبل تأمين تبادل المعلومات والتعاون بين هذه الهيئات فيما يتعلق بممارستها المتصلة بحقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة؛

13. Endorses the recommendations of the meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies on the need to ensure financing and adequate staffing resources for the operations of the treaty bodies and, with this in mind:
٣١ ـ تؤيد توصيات اجتماعات رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب صكوك حقوق اﻹنسان بشأن ضرورة تأمين التمويل والموارد الكافية من الموظفين لعمليات هذه الهيئات، وإذ تضع هذا في الاعتبار:

34. During 1994, UNHCR was increasingly involved in the work of the human rights treaty bodies and other human rights mechanisms, through sharing of information, exchange of views and promotion of human rights standards.

Among other developments, participants noted that following the recommendation of the fourth meeting of chairpersons, a number of treaty bodies had taken steps towards elaborating early warning measures and urgent procedures with a view to preventing the occurrence, or recurrence, of serious human rights violations.
