Disciplinary procedures set out in article X of the Staff Regulations and chapter X of the Staff Rules may be instituted against a staff member who fails to comply with his or her obligations and the standards of conduct set out in the Charter of the United Nations, the Staff Regulations and Rules, the Financial Regulations and Rules and all administrative issuances.

There is no doubt that a State withdrawing from the Treaty must strictly observe the conditions set out in article X. However, the Review Conference needs to develop agreed recommendations on the procedures for, and consequences of, possible withdrawal from the Treaty.

11. NPT parties should undertake a wide range of actions to seek to dissuade a State from withdrawing while in violation of the Treaty and to express opposition to such a step -- before, during, and after the article X notice period.
11 - ينبغي أن تتخذ أطراف المعاهدة طائفة واسعة من الإجراءات الرامية إلى إقناع أي دولة بالعدول عن الانسحاب من المعاهدة وهي في حالة انتهاك لها، والإعراب عن معارضة تلك الخطوة - قبل مهلة الإشعار المنصوص عليها في المادة العاشرة وأثناءها وبعدها.
