41. While taking note of the measures taken by the State party to instil awareness about the rights of the child, the Committee reiterates its concern that awareness of the Convention among professionals working with and for children, and the general public, especially children themselves, remains low.

(a) Develop community-based training programmes for parents, teachers, judges and other professionals working with and for children with a view to promoting children's participation in all relevant settings;

13. Please provide updated information on efforts made to provide training on and awareness of the Convention and human rights in general, to children, parents, teachers, social workers and other professionals working with and for children.

23. The Committee notes the State party's efforts to promote awareness of the Convention among professionals working with and for children and among the general public, but remains concerned that these are not sufficient or that plans to disseminate the principles and provisions of the Convention are not carried out.
23- تلاحظ اللجنة جهود الدولة الطرف في تعزيز الوعي بالاتفاقية بين المهنيين العاملين مع الأطفال ولصالحهم وبين الجمهور عامة، ولكنها تظل تشعر بالقلق لأن هذه الجهود غير كافية أو لأن خطط نشر مبادئ وأحكام الاتفاقية لم توضع موضع التنفيذ.

446. Noting some efforts by the State party (e.g. radio programmes), the Committee is concerned that awareness of the Convention amongst professionals working with and for children and the general public, including children themselves, remains low.
446- تحيط اللجنة علماً بأن الدولة الطرف تبذل بعض الجهود (مثل البرامج الإذاعية)، إلا أنها تشعر بالقلق لأن الوعي بالاتفاقية في صفوف المهنيين العاملين مع الأطفال ولصالحهم وعامة الجمهور، بما في ذلك الأطفال أنفسهم، لا يزال وعياً ضئيلاً.

The Committee further notes with concern that professionals working with and for children are inadequately trained to identify, report and manage child abuse and illtreatment cases and that the media sensationalize child protection issues, making the stigma and shame attached to victims worse.

410. The Committee recommends that the State party take effective measures to enforce the ban on corporal punishment in schools and other institutions; to prohibit the use of violence against children, including corporal punishment, by parents and other caregivers; and to undertake campaigns to educate families, teachers, and other professionals working with and for children on alternative ways of disciplining children.
410- وتوصي اللجنة بأن تتخذ الدولة الطرف تدابير فعالة لتنفيذ الحظر المفروض على العقوبة البدنية في المدارس والمؤسسات الأخرى؛ ولحظر استخدام العنف ضد الأطفال، بما في ذلك العقوبة البدنية، من جانب الوالدين وغيرهم من الجهات الراعية للأطفال؛ وتنظيم حملات لتثقيف الأسر والمدرسين وغيرهم من المهنيين العاملين مع الأطفال ولصالحهم بالطرق البديلة لتأديب الأطفال.

661. The Committee acknowledges that it is challenging to change the deep-rooted ideology behind the institution model but it encourages States parties to take realistic steps with a view to changing traditional institutions, for instance, by establishing smaller specialized units within the institutions, increasing the number of professionals working with and for children and providing these professionals with systematic training.
661- وتسلّم اللجنة بأنها تواجه تحدياً يتمثل في تغيير الإيديولوجيا المتجذرة التي يقوم عليها نموذج المؤسسة ولكنها تشجع الدول الأطراف على اتخاذ خطوات واقعية بغية تغيير المؤسسات التقليدية بوسائل منها مثلاً إنشاء وحدات متخصصة أصغر حجماً ضمن المؤسسات، وزيادة عدد المهنيين العاملين مع الأطفال ولصالحهم وتزويد هؤلاء المهنيين بتدريب منهجي.

States parties are encouraged to undertake systematic education and training of children and their parents, as well as all professionals working for and with children.
وتشجع اللجنة الدول الأطراف على الاضطلاع بأنشطة التعليم والتدريب على أساس منهجي للأطفال والآباء، وكذلك لجميع العاملين المهنيين العاملين مع الأطفال ولصالحهم.

19. While noting that some training activities on trafficking have been carried out (such as the training sessions for the diplomatic staff organized by the service addressing trafficking in persons of the Federal Police), the Committee is concerned that this training does not include all professionals working for and with children or adequately include all the provisions of the Optional Protocol.
19- مع ملاحظة إجراء بعض الأنشطة التدريبية بشأن الاتِّجار (مثل الدورات التدريبية للموظفين الدبلوماسيين التي نظمتها الدائرة التابعة للشرطة الاتحادية المخصصة لموضوع الاتِّجار بالأشخاص) فإن اللجنة تشعر بالقلق لأن هذا التدريب لا يشمل جميع المهنيين العاملين مع الأطفال ولصالحهم أو لا يشمل بصورة كافية جميع أحكام البروتوكول الاختياري.
