The study considered the impact of armed conflict on women and girls at every stage of conflict, and revealed that violence against women and girls during armed conflict often continues as domestic violence when the conflict is over.

5 - يطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يضمِّن جميع التقارير القطرية المقدمة إلى مجلس الأمن معلومات عن تأثير حالات النزاع المسلح على النساء والفتيات، واحتياجاتهن الخاصة في حالات ما بعد انتهاء النزاع، والعقبات التي تحول دون تلبية تلك الاحتياجات؛

(h) The Security Council should require that all country reports to the Security Council on situations of which the Security Council is seized provide specific information on the impact of armed conflict on women and girls, including, where possible, data disaggregated by sex and age;
(ح) وينبغي لمجلس الأمن أن يطلب تضمين جميع التقارير القطرية المقدمة إليه عن الحالات المعروضة عليه معلومات محددة عن أثر النزاع المسلح على النساء والفتيات، بما في ذلك، حيثما أمكن، بيانات مصنفة حسب نوع الجنس والعمر؛

Members of the Council also recall their discussions in October 2000 and resolution 1325 (2000) on women and peace and security, in which the Council recognized that an understanding of the impact of armed conflict on women and girls, effective institutional arrangements to guarantee their protection and full participation in the peace process could significantly contribute to the maintenance and promotion of international peace and security.
