At its first meeting, held in Geneva from 20 to 24 September 2004, in decision RC-1/1, the Conference adopted the rules of procedure for the Conference of the Parties as contained in the annex to that decision, with the exception of rule 45, paragraph 1.
6 - اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف في اجتماعه الأول المعقود في جنيف في الفترة من 20 إلى 24 أيلول/سبتمبر 2004، وفي مقرره اتفاقية روتردام -1/1، النظام الداخلي لمؤتمر الأطراف على النحو الوارد في مرفق هذا المقرر باستثناء الفقرة 1 من المادة 45.

1. Adopts, in accordance with these principles, the modalities, rules and guidelines, in particular for verification, reporting and accountability for emissions trading contained in the annex to this decision;

Adopts the indicative scale of contributions for 2008 and 2009 contained in the annex to this decision, covering 63.2 per cent of the indicative contributions specified in table 1 below;

Adopts the indicative scale of contributions for 2010 and 2011 contained in the annex to this decision covering 36.8 per cent of the indicative contributions specified in table 1 of decision 12/CP.15;

3. Decides to complete the elaboration of these draft guidelines in accordance with the timetable contained in the annex to this decision, on the basis of relevant decisions of the Conference of the Parties [and taking into account the elements contained in the appendix to document FCCC/SBSTA/2000/xx];

(It is anticipated that the consideration of most substantive issues related to the sections of the guidelines mentioned in the timetable contained in the annex to this decision will finish during the resumed SBSTA 13 and COP 6.

Decides to adopt the framework for meaningful and effective actions to enhance the implementation of Article 4, paragraph 5, of the Convention contained in the annex to this decision as part of the outcome of the technology transfer consultative process (decision 4/CP.4) and the Buenos Aires Plan of Action (decision 1/CP.4);
1- يقرر اعتماد إطار الإجراءات الهادفة والفعالة لتعزيز تنفيذ المادة 4-5 من الاتفاقية الوارد في مرفق هذا المقرر كجزء من نتائج العملية الاستشارية لنقل التكنولوجيا (المقرر 4/م أ-4) وخطة عمل بوينس آيريس (المقرر 1/م أ-4)؛

To consult with relevant international organizations, and solicit information on their capabilities and abilities to support certain activities identified in the framework for meaningful and effective actions contained in the annex to this decision, and to report on its findings to the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice at its sixteenth session;
(أ) التشاور مع المنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة بالموضوع والتماس المعلومات المتعلقة بقدراتها وإمكانياتها لدعم بعض الأنشطة المحددة في إطار الإجراءات الهادفة والفعالة الوارد في مرفق هذا المقرر وتقديم تقرير عن استنتاجاتها إلى الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية في دورتها السادسة عشرة؛

22. By its decision 1/COP.5, the COP decided to establish a committee for the review of the implementation of the Convention as a subsidiary body of the COP to assist it in regularly reviewing the implementation of the Convention and to adopt the terms of reference of the CRIC as contained in the annex to that decision.
22- وقرر مؤتمر الأطراف، في مقرره 1/م أ-5، إنشاء لجنة لاستعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية بوصفها إحدى الهيئات الفرعية لمؤتمر الأطراف بغية مساعدته على استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية بانتظام، واعتماد اختصاصات هذه اللجنة على النحو الوارد في مرفق هذا المقرر.
