38. Document ICCD/COP(10)/CST/9 reports on the conceptualization of the knowledge management system with a focus on the brokering of scientific knowledge, in line with the provisions of The Strategy, and contains information on the overall knowledge management at the level of the UNCCD secretariat.
38- وتتناول الوثيقة ICCD/COP(10)/CST/9 الإطار المفاهيمي لنظام إدارة المعارف بالتركيز على الوساطة في نقل المعارف العلمية، تمشياً مع أحكام الاستراتيجية، وتتضمن معلومات عن إدارة المعارف إجمالاً على مستوى أمانة الاتفاقية.

The CST also has a role in promoting know-how and technology transfer when mobilizing science and technology experts, networks and institutions with excellence in desertification/land degradation issues and in creating a knowledge-management system aimed at improving the brokering of scientific and technical information from and to institutions, Parties and end users.

The CST Bureau led the preparatory work for considerations on how to provide international and interdisciplinary scientific advice to the UNCCD process, and it also guided the work of the secretariat in developing its knowledge management, with particular attention to advancing the systematic brokering of scientific knowledge under the Convention.
13- وأشرف مكتب لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا على العمل التحضيري للنظر في كيفية تقديم المشورة العلمية على الصعيدين الدولي والمتعدد الاختصاصات إلى علمية الاتفاقية، وأرشد عمل الأمانة كذلك في تطوير إدارة معارفها، مع التركيز بصفة خاصة على تحسين دور الوساطة في نقل المعلومات العلمية بصورة منتظمة في إطار الاتفاقية.
