1. With the increasing number of peacekeeping operations worldwide, transfer of equipment to other missions or storage in anticipation of upcoming missions are the alternatives of choice, in that such actions result in overall reduced costs to the Organization.

Under the present practice of the United Nations, missions under liquidation do not receive credit for their assets transferred to other missions.
١١ - وبموجب الممارسة الحالية لﻷمم المتحدة، لا يقيد ائتمان لحساب البعثات الجارية تصفيتها مقابل أصولها المحولة الى بعثات أخرى.

٩٣ - وفي نفس القرار، طلبت الجمعية العامة الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا في وقت مبكر في دورتها الثامنة واﻷربعين يتضمن إيضاحا مفصلا لتقديم موجودات معينة الى حكومة كمبوديا على سبيل الهبة باﻹضافة الى المقترحات الخاصة بتقديم أية موجودات متبقية لا يمكن تحويلها الى بعثات أخرى على سبيل الهبة.

4. In paragraph 11 of the same resolution, the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to present a report early at the forty-eighth session providing a detailed explanation for the donation of certain assets to the Government of Cambodia along with the proposals for the donation of any remaining assets that cannot be transferred to other missions.
٤ - وفي الفقرة ١١ من نفس القرار، طلبت الجمعية العامة الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا في وقت مبكر في الدورة الثامنة واﻷربعين يتضمن ايضاحا مفصلا لبعض الموجودات الممنوحة الى حكومة كمبوديا بالاضافة الى المقترحات الخاصة بمنح أية موجودات متبقية لا يمكن تحويلها الى بعثات أخرى.

109. With the increasing number of peace-keeping operations world wide, transfer of equipment to other missions for their use or for storage in anticipation of upcoming missions is the preferred mode of disposition of equipment since such transfers result in reduced costs for receiving missions.
١٠٩ - ومع تزايد عمليات حفظ السلم في جميع أنحاء العالم، يعتبر نقل المعدات الى بعثات أخرى لاستخدامها أو لتخزينها تحسبا ﻹنشــاء بعثات جديدة أفضــل طريقة للتصرف بالمعدات إذ أن عمليات النقل هذه تعمل على تخفيض التكاليف للبعثات المتلقية.
