1. The States Parties agree to consult and cooperate with each other regarding the implementation of the provisions of this Convention and to work together in a spirit of cooperation to facilitate compliance by States parties with their obligations under this Convention.

In its task of monitoring compliance by States parties with their obligations under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the Committee has become increasingly aware of the extent to which international economic policies and practices affect the ability of States to fulfil their treaty obligations.
3- ولقد تزايد إدراك اللجنة، في اضطلاعها بمهمة رصد امتثال الدول الأطراف لالتزاماتها بموجب العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، لمدى تأثير السياسات والممارسات الاقتصادية الدولية في قدرة الدول على الوفاء بالتزاماتها التعاهدية.

The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, in its task of monitoring compliance by States parties with their obligations under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, has gained considerable experience in understanding the impact of international cooperation at the national level.
1- اكتسبت اللجنة المعنية بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، لدى اضطلاعها بمهمة رصد امتثال الدول الأطراف لالتزاماتها بموجب العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، خبرة واسعة في تقييم أثر التعاون الدولي على الصعيد الوطني.

In addition since the Nairobi Summit, States Parties have acted in accordance with their obligation " to work together in a spirit of cooperation to facilitate compliance by States parties with their obligations under this Convention. "

Sweden believes that the Committee should not only seek new and appropriate ways to measure States parties' compliance with their obligations but it should also actively encourage dialogue with the State party concerned as well as between States parties on the steps to be taken to achieve the full realization of the rights recognized in the Covenant.
3- وتعتقد السويد أنه ليس على اللجنة أن تبحث عن سبل جديدة ومناسبة لقياس درجة امتثال الدول الأطراف لالتزاماتها فحسب، بل عليها أيضا أن تشجع بنشاط الحوار مع الدولة الطرف المعنية، وكذلك فيما بين الدول الأطراف، بشأن الخطوات التي يتعين اتخاذها من أجل تحقيق التمتع الكامل بالحقوق المعترف بها في العهد.
