2. this Convention shall continue to apply to investor-State arbitrations commenced before the denunciation takes effect.
2- يستمرُّ انطباق هذه الاتفاقية على دعاوى التحكيم بين المستثمرين والدول التي تقام قبل بدء سريان الانسحاب.

An interesting case concerns the applicability of this Convention as it relates to re-entry of a space nuclear reactor with uranium-235 fuel.
37- وثمة حالة مثيرة للاهتمام، تخص انطباق هذه الاتفاقية فيما يتعلق برجوع أي مفاعل نووي يعمل بوقود اليورانيوم-235.

3. Neither the nationality of the parties nor the civil or commercial character of the parties or of the contract is to be taken into consideration in determining the application of this Convention.
3- لا يؤخذ في الاعتبار لدى تقرير انطباق هذه الاتفاقية لا جنسية الطرفين ولا الصفة المدنية أو التجارية للطرفين أو للعقد.

2. Any State may exclude from the scope of application of this Convention the matters it specifies in a declaration made in accordance with article 20.
2- يجوز لأي دولة أن تستبعد من نطاق انطباق هذه الاتفاقية المسائل التي تذكرها تحديدا في إعلان تصدره وفقا للمادة 20.

It was also observed that the draft provision referred to a contract " between the parties " , whereas draft article 7 referred to a contract between the carrier and a party " that is not an original party to the charterparty or other contract of carriage excluded from the application of this Convention. "

2. Any Contracting State may exclude from the scope of application of this Convention the matters it specifies in a declaration made in accordance with article 21.

" (a) Identifies the parties to and the date of the charterparty or other contract excluded from the application of this Convention by reason of the application of article 6; and

2 - يستمرُّ انطباق هذه الاتفاقية على دعاوى التحكيم بين المستثمرين والدول التي تقام قبل بدء سريان الانسحاب.

On 5 December 2001, the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention reaffirmed the applicability of this Convention to the Occupied Palestinian Territory, reiterated the need for full respect for the provision of the Convention and recalled the obligations under the Convention of the parties to the conflict and of the State of Israel as the Occupying Power.
وفي 5 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001، أكدت الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة من جديد انطباق هذه الاتفاقية على الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، وكررت تأكيد الحاجة إلى الاحترام الكامل لنص الاتفاقية، وذكَّرت بالالتزامات التي تقع بموجب الاتفاقية على عاتق طرفي النزاع ودولة إسرائيل بوصفها السلطة القائمة بالاحتلال.
