6.60 The third objective is to undertake implementation measures required pursuant to decisions taken by the relevant organs and subsidiary bodies pertaining to progressive development and codification of international law.
٦-٦٠ أما الهدف الثالث فهو الاضطلاع بتدابير التنفيذ المطلوبة عملا بالقرارات المتخذة من قبل اﻷجهزة والهيئات الفرعية ذات الصلة المتعلقة بالتطوير التدريجي للقانون الدولي وتدوينه.

According to section 1, paragraph 3, of the annex to the Agreement, the setting up and the functioning of the organs and subsidiary bodies of the Authority shall be based on an evolutionary approach, taking into account the functional needs of the organs and subsidiary bodies concerned in order that they may discharge effectively their respective responsibilities at various stages of the development of activities in the Area.
ووفقا للفقرة ٣ من الفرع ١ من مرفق الاتفاق، تنشأ اﻷجهزة والهيئات الفرعية للسلطة وتمارس أعمالها على مراحل، مع مراعاة الاحتياجات الوظيفية لﻷجهزة والهيئات الفرعية المعنية، لكي ينهض كل منها بمسؤولياته على الوجه الفعال في مختلف مراحل تطور اﻷنشطة في المنطقة.

While recognizing that the structure and functioning of the various organs and subsidiary bodies of the Authority should be based on the principles of evolution and cost-effectiveness, we firmly believe that if it is to implement properly those tasks entrusted to it the Authority should be given the necessary support and provided with the necessary means.
وإذ نسلم بأن هيكل وأداء مختلف اﻷجهزة والهيئات الفرعية التابعة للسلطة ينبغي أن يرتكزا على مبدأي التطور التدريجي وفعالية التكاليف، نؤمن إيمانا راسخا بأنه إذا كان للسلطة أن تنفذ المهام المناطة بها تنفيذا سليما ينبغي أن تعطى الدعم اللازم والموارد اللازمة.

4. ٤ - تكرر طلبها أن يقترح رؤساء اﻷجهزة والهيئات الفرعية ذات الصلة التابعة للجمعية العامة، والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، وهيئاته الفرعية، وهيئات اﻷمم المتحدة اﻷخرى، على الدول اﻷعضاء أن تعتمد، في بداية كل دورة، المدد المحددة التي يسمح بها للمتكلمين؛
