The Government of the Republic of Korea, having examined the said Convention, hereby ratifies the Convention, considering itself not bound by the provisions of subparagraph (g) of paragraph 1 of article 16 of the Convention.
إن حكومة جمهورية كوريا، وقد درست الاتفاقية المذكورة، تصدق بموجب هذا النص على هذه الاتفاقية، وتعتبر نفسها غير ملزمة بأحكام الفقرة الفرعية (ز) من الفقرة 1 من المادة 16 من الاتفاقية.

(b) When appropriate, without prejudice to the provisions of subparagraph (a), requests may also be transmitted through the International Criminal Police Organization or any appropriate regional organization.
(ب) يجوز، حسبما يكون مناسبا ودون الإخلال بأحكام الفقرة الفرعية (أ)، إحالة الطلبات أيضا عن طريق المنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية أو أي منظمة إقليمية مناسبة.

(e) Subject to the provisions of subparagraph (c), the Committee shall make available its good offices to the State Parties concerned with a view to a friendly solution of the matter on the basis of respect for the obligations provided for in this Convention.
)ﻫ( رهناً بأحكام الفقرة الفرعية )ج(، تعرض اللجنة مساعيها الحميدة على الدولة الطرف المعنية بغية إيجاد تسوية ودية للمسألة على أساس احترام الالتزامات المنصوص عليها في هذه الاتفاقية.

(7) One member of the Commission expressed the view that subparagraph (c) should be deleted since, in the light of the definition of harm in article 2 (b), harm to the environment was already covered by the provisions of subparagraph (a).

2. Japan reserves the right not to be bound by the provisions of subparagraph (d) of paragraph 1 of article 8 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, except in relation to the sectors in which the right referred to in the said provisions is accorded in accordance with the laws and regulations of Japan at the time of ratification of the Covenant by the Government of Japan.
2- تحتفظ اليابان بحق عدم الالتزام بأحكام الفقرة الفرعية (د) من الفقرة 1 من المادة 8 من العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، ما عدا ما يتعلق بالقطاعات التي يمنح فيها الحق المشار إليه في هذه الأحكام وفقا لقوانين ولوائح اليابان وقت تصديق حكومة اليابان على العهد.

(ii) Without prejudice to the provisions of subparagraph (b) (ii) below, the Secretary-General may, in appropriate cases, reduce or waive the required period of probationary service following an equivalent period of continuous service on fixed-term appointment.
' ٢ ' دون المساس بأحكام الفقرة الفرعية )ب( ' ٢ ' أدناه، يجوز لﻷمين العام، في الحالات المناسبة، أن يخفض فترة الخدمة الاختبارية المطلوبة أو يسقطها إذا كان الموظف قد أمضى فترة مكافئة من الخدمة المستمرة بتعيين محدد المدة.
