Once again urges the Secretary-General, taking into account the suggestions of the Human Rights Committee, to take determined steps, in particular through the Office of Communications and Public Information of the Secretariat, to give more publicity to the work of that Committee and, similarly, to the work of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights;
١٩ - تحث مرة أخرى اﻷمين العام على أن يقوم، آخذا اقتراحات لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في الحسبان، باتخاذ خطوات حاسمة، خاصة عن طريق مكتب الاتصالات واﻹعلام باﻷمانة العامة لزيادة التعريف بأعمال تلك اللجنة، وكذلك بأعمال اللجنة المعنية بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية؛

Welcoming the work of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development on its theme on " Technology development and capacity-building for competitiveness in a digital society " , and noting the findings, which indicate, inter alia, the following:
إذ يرحب بأعمال اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية المتعلقة بموضوع " تطوير التكنولوجيا وبناء القدرات من أجل المنافسة في مجتمع التكنولوجيا الرقمية " ويلاحظ النتائج التي تشير في جملة أمور إلى ما يلي:

21. Welcomes the initiative by the Secretary-General, taking into account the suggestions of the Human Rights Committee, to take determined steps, in particular through the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat, to give more publicity to the work of that Committee and, similarly, to the work of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights;
٢١ - ترحب بمبادرة اﻷمين العام إلى القيام، آخذا اقتراحات لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في الحسبان، باتخاذ خطوات حاسمة، لا سيما عن طريق إدارة اﻹعلام باﻷمانة العامة، لزيادة التعريف بأعمال تلك اللجنة، وكذلك بأعمال اللجنة المعنية بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية؛

The Economic and Social Council, in its resolution 1993/72, requested the Secretary-General to ensure that information on those aspects of the work of the Commission on Sustainable Development that had a bearing on the work of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development was distributed to members of the latter Commission and that the work of the two Commissions was coordinated effectively.
طلب المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في قراره ١٩٩٣/٧٢ إلى اﻷمين العام أن يعمل على تأمين توزيع المعلومات عن جوانب أعمال لجنة التنمية المستدامة ذات الصلة بأعمال اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية على أعضاء هذه اللجنة اﻷخيرة، وأن يؤمن أيضا تنسيق أعمال اللجنتين تنسيقا فعالا.
