يسلّم المؤتمر بأن نزع السلاح النووي وتحقيق السلام والأمن بإخلاء العالم من الأسلحة النووية يستلزمان انفتاحا وتعاونا، ويؤكد أهمية توطيد الثقة من خلال زيادة الشفافية والتحقق الفعال.

i. The Conference resolves to seek a safer world for all and to achieve the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons, in accordance with the objectives of the Treaty.
' 1` يعقد المؤتمر العزم على السعي إلى إيجاد عالم أكثر أمنا للجميع والعمل على إحلال السلام والأمن بإخلاء العالم من الأسلحة النووية، وفقا لأهداف المعاهدة.

These initiatives tend towards a world free of nuclear weapons and offer a variety of approaches and political solutions to bring this about.
وتعنى هذه المبادرات بإخلاء العالم من الأسلحة النووية وتطرح طائفة من النُهُج والحلول السياسية من أجل تحقيق هذا الهدف.

Achieving our goal of a nuclear-weapon-free world must be the backdrop of common collective efforts.

A successful outcome to the 2010 Review Conference of the Parties to the NPT is crucial for the strengthening of the nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation regime and will signal to the international community that the States parties, in particular the nuclear-weapon States, are committed to a world free of nuclear weapons.
ونجاح المؤتمر الاستعراضي لعام 2010 لأطراف معاهدة عدم الانتشار أمر حاسم لتعزيز نظام نزع السلاح وعدم الانتشار النوويين وسيبعث برسالة إلى المجتمع الدولي مفادها أن الدول الأطراف، ولا سيما الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية، ملتزمة بإخلاء العالم من الأسلحة النووية.

The idea of the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East was proposed for the very first time by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1974, which indicates its long-standing commitment to the realization of a nuclear-weapon-free world and the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in this volatile region.
