24. The Committee reiterates its concern about the persistence of traditional stereotypes regarding the roles and responsibilities of women and men in the family and in the society at large, which represent a significant impediment to the implementation of the Convention and are root causes of women's disadvantaged position in political life, labour market and other areas.
24 - تكرر اللجنة الإعراب عن قلقها إزاء استمرار القوالب النمطية التقليدية فيما يتعلق بالأدوار والمسؤوليات المنوطة بالنساء والرجال في الأسرة والمجتمع بصورة عامة، الأمر الذي يشكل عقبة كأداء أمام تنفيذ الاتفاقية وسببا جذريا لوضع المرأة الضعيف في الحياة السياسية وسوق العمل ومجالات أخرى.
