" 3. The Working Group took note of the nine confidential communications received directly by the Division for the Advancement of Women of the United Nations Secretariat and of the 27 communications that formed the confidential list received by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
" ٣ - وأحاط الفريق العامل علما بالرسائل السرية التسع التي تلقتها مباشرة شعبة النهوض بالمرأة في اﻷمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة، وبالرسائل اﻟ ٢٧ التي شكلت قائمة الرسائل السرية التي تلقتها مفوضية اﻷمم المتحدة لحقوق اﻹنسان التابعة لمكتب اﻷمم المتحدة في جنيف.

" 3. The Working Group took note of the three confidential communications received directly by the Division for the Advancement of Women of the United Nations Secretariat, as well as of the 16 communications taken from the confidential list of communications received from the Centre for Human Rights of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
" ٣ - وأحاط الفريق العامل علما بالرسائل السرية الثلاث الواردة مباشرة من شعبة النهوض بالمرأة التابعة لﻷمانة العامة لﻷمم المتحدة، فضلا عن ٦١ رسالة مأخوذة من القائمة السرية للرسائل الواردة من مركز حقوق اﻹنسان بمكتب اﻷمم المتحدة بجنيف.

" 4. Regarding the confidential communications received directly by the Division, the Working Group noted some specific trends in the alleged cases of discrimination and/or violation of human rights of women, namely violations of the rights of freedom of expression and of movement; and discrimination in the right to citizenship.
" ٤ - وفيما يتعلق بالرسائل السرية الواردة مباشرة من الشعبة، لاحظ الفريق وجود بعض الاتجاهات المحددة في الحالات المزعومة المتصلة بالتمييز و/أو انتهاك حقوق اﻹنسان بالنسبة للمرأة، وهذه الاتجاهات هي: انتهاكات للحقوق المتصلة بحرية التعبير والتنقل؛ والتمييز فيما يتعلق بالحق في الجنسية.

17. The Commission had before it a list of confidential communications concerning the status of women (S.W. Communications List No. 28), which was distributed in a sealed envelope to the representatives of each of its States members, and a list of non-confidential communications (E/CN.6/1994/CR.30).
١٧ - كان معروضا على اللجنة قائمة بالرسائل السرية المتعلقة بمركز المرأة )القائمة رقم ٢٨ للرسائل المتعلقة بمركز المرأة(، كان قد تم توزيعها في مظروف مغلق على ممثلي كل دولة من الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة، وقائمة بالرسائل غير السرية )E/CN.6/1994/CR.30(.

4. The European Union stressed that communications that related to the status of women that were considered under the 1503 procedure were shared with the confidential communications procedure of the Commission on the Status of Women only to identify categories in which communications were most frequently submitted.
4 - وأكد الاتحاد الأوروبي على أن الرسائل المتعلقة بوضع المرأة، والتي تم النظر فيها بموجب الإجراء 1503، لم يجر عرضها على القائمين على الإجراء الخاص بالرسائل السرية في لجنة وضع المرأة إلا من أجل تحديد الفئات التي ترد ضمنها الرسائل في معظم الأحيان.

" Further, in section I, entitled `Communications concerning the Status of Women', of its resolution 304 (XI) entitled `Report of the Commission on the Status of Women (fourth session)', the Economic and Social Council decided, inter alia, to amend paragraph (b) of Council resolution 76 (V), which provided the procedure with regard to confidential communications for the Commission on the Status of Women.
