Noting with appreciation the successful organization of the international workshop on hazardous substances in the life cycle of electrical and electronic products from 29 to 31 March 2011 in Vienna,
إذ يلاحظ تقدير التنظيم الناجح لحلقة العمل الدولية المعنية بالمواد الخطرة في دورة حياة المنتجات الكهربائية والإلكترونية، التي عُقدت في فيينا خلال الفترة 29 - 31 آذار/مارس 2011،

The African regional meeting subsequently adopted a resolution calling for the inclusion of activities on hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products in the Global Plan of Action and prepared a justification document of the kind called for in the procedure adopted by the Conference at its second session.

116. With regard to the emerging issue of hazardous substances within the life cycle of electrical and electronic products, several representatives, including one speaking on behalf of a group of countries, expressed support for the draft resolution text submitted by the Open-ended Working Group.
116- فيما يتعلق بالقضية الناشئة الخاصة بالمواد الخطرة في دورة حياة المنتجات الكهربائية والإلكترونية، أعرب عدة ممثلين، من بينهم ممثل تحدث بالنيابة عن مجموعة بلدان، عن دعمهم لنص مشروع المقرر الذي قدمه الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية.

In its decision OEWG.1/1 II, the Open-ended Working Group recommended that, at its third session, the Conference include new activities related to hazardous substances within the life cycle of electrical and electronic products in the Global Plan of Action.
