Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) and Large Marine Ecosystems (LME) - OSLR currently is involved in the formulation of a living resources Panel for GOOS.
الشبكة العالمية لرصد المحيطات )غوس( والنظم اﻷيكولوجية البحرية الكبري - يشترك حاليا برنامج علوم المحيطات وعلاقتها بالموارد الحية في تشكيل فريق معني بالموارد الحية تابع للشبكة العالمية لرصد المحيطات.

50. In particular, with regard to article 73 of the Convention, the Tribunal noted that the M/V Louisa was not detained " for the reason that the laws and regulations of Spain concerning the living resources in the exclusive economic zone had been violated " (see para. 104 of the judgment).

This issue is particularly relevant for the thematic areas on marine and coastal living resources (smothering of the seabed, and the effects of entanglement and ingestion of litter on fish, marine mammals and seabirds), and alien species (litter as a vector for transport of species).116
ولهذه المسألة صلة وثيقة بالمجالات المواضيعية الخاصة بالموارد الحية البحرية والساحلية (اختناق قاع البحر وآثار وقوع الأسماك أو الثدييات والطيور البحرية في شرك النفايات البحرية المبعثرة أو ابتلاعها لهذه النفايات)، ومسألة الأنواع الغريبة (النفايات المبعثرة باعتبارها واسطة لنقل الأنواع)(116).

OSLR represents a framework programme for IOC member States to share knowledge, develop cooperative actions and address uncertainties about marine living resources and their biodiversity, through joint scientific research, in conjunction with international and intergovernmental initiatives and programmes.
ويشكل برنامج علوم البحار المتعلقة بالموارد الحية برنامجا إطاريا تتبادل فيه الدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة اﻷوقيانوغرافية الحكومية الدولية المعلومات وتضع اﻹجراءات التعاونية وتواجهه الاحتمالات المتعلقة بالموارد الحية البحرية وتنوعها الإحيائي، وذلك من خلال البحث العلمي المشترك بالتعاون مع المبادرات والبرامج الدولية والحكومية الدولية.
