As regards the safety of nuclear Power Sources (NPS) in outer space, China takes a similar view to that contained in the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space.
فيما يتعلَّق بمسألة أمان مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي، يتَّفق رأيُ الصين مع الرأي الوارد في إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي.

The workshops are a major part of the new five-year workplan of the Working Group, aimed at following up and reinforcing the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space.
وتشكّل حلقات العمل هذه جزءا رئيسيا من خطة عمل الفريق العامل الخمسية الجديدة الرامية إلى متابعة تنفيذ إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي وتعزيز هذا الإطار.

وذهبت تلك الوفود إلى أنه ينبغي إيلاء مزيد من الاهتمام لتلك المسائل من خلال استراتيجيات كافية وخطط طويلة الأمد ولوائح تنظيمية، بما في ذلك إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي.

In that context, those delegations called on the Legal Subcommittee to undertake a review of the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space and to promote binding standards with a view to ensuring that any activity conducted in outer space was governed by the principles of preservation of life and maintenance of peace.
وفي هذا الصدد، دعت تلك الوفود اللجنة الفرعية القانونية إلى إجراء مراجعة لإطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي وإلى ترويج معايير ملزمة تكفل خضوع أيِّ نشاط يُنفذ في الفضاء الخارجي لمبدأي الحفاظ على الحياة وصون السلم.

The recommendation to ensure the highest level of safety that can reasonably be achieved, as contained in the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space, is reflected in the selection of the altitude of the initial orbit for the transport energy module, aboard which the nuclear reactor is being installed.
أمَّا التوصية بضمان تحقيق أعلى مستوى معقول من الأمان يمكن بلوغه، بصيغتها الواردة في إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي، فالعمل بها يدلُّ عليه اختيارُ ارتفاع المدار الأولي لنميطة طاقة النقل التي يجري تركيب المفاعل النووي على متنها.

Some delegations expressed the view that the revision of the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space was not necessary at present.
104- وأعرب بعض الوفود عن رأي مفاده أنَّ تنقيح إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي ليس ضرورياً في الوقت الحاضر.

The view was expressed that encouraging national implementation of the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications should remain a high priority of the Subcommittee.
166- وأُعرب عن رأي مفاده أنَّ التشجيع على تنفيذ إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي على الصعيد الوطني ينبغي أن يظل في صدارة أولويات اللجنة الفرعية.

Those delegations were of the view that more attention should be given to that matter through adequate strategies, long-term planning, regulations and the promotion of binding standards, as well as the Safety Framework for Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space.
ورأت تلك الوفود أنه ينبغي زيادة الاهتمام بهذا الأمر من خلال وضع استراتيجيات مناسبة وخطط طويلة الأمد ولوائح تنظيمية والتشجيع على اعتماد معايير ملزمة، وكذلك إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي.

The Legal Subcommittee further noted with satisfaction the agreement that a partnership be established between the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by means of a joint experts group in order to prepare and publish the safety framework for nuclear Power Source Applications in outer space by 2010.
93- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية القانونية بارتياح كذلك الاتفاق القاضي بصوغ شراكة بين اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية من خلال تكوين فريق خبراء مشترك يعنى بوضع إطار الأمان الخاص بتطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية في الفضاء الخارجي ونشر ذلك الإطار بحلول عام 2010.
