I. Fundamental structure of the State and statistical and economic indicators for the Arab Republic of Egypt
أولاً - الهيكل الأساسي للدولة والمؤشرات الإحصائية والاقتصادية الخاصة بجمهورية مصر العربية

According to the information available, the investigations carried out in Egypt and the security cooperation established with various countries of the world, there is as yet no proof that Osama bin Laden, al-Qa'idah and the Taliban are engaged in any activities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The names and entities included in the list are consequently subject to that legislation and its enforcement mechanisms, which prevents the siphoning of economic resources and funds to financial institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt on the one hand and also means that all such funds are frozen as soon as notification of their origin or beneficiary is received.

the Egyptian competent authorities have long relied on the science of crisis management in order to detect dangers and crises and to develop the plans needed to cope with them in coordination with all national authorities. In this regard, they have taken many measures, including:

The explanatory note to this law states that, given the danger involved in handling dangerous materials and waste, there is a strict ban on the import into or entry to the Arab Republic of Egypt of such materials.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن المذكرة الإيضاحية لهذا القانون نصت على أنه نظراً لخطورة التعامل مع المواد والنفايات الخطرة فإنه يحظر تماماً استيراد النفايات الخطرة أو السماح بدخولها أو مرورها بجمهورية مصر العربية.

It should be mentioned that the explanatory note to the said Act provides that, in view of the dangers involved in the handling of hazardous waste, the importation of such waste and the granting of permission for the introduction or passage thereof into or through the Arab Republic of Egypt are absolutely prohibited.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن المذكرة الإيضاحية لهذا القانون نصت على أنه نظرا لخطورة التعامل مع المواد والنفايات الخطرة فإنه يحظر تماما استيراد النفايات الخطرة أو السماح بدخولها أو مرورها بجمهورية مصر العربية. يضاف إلى ما تقدم:

2. The Second Arab Forum/Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction was held from 14 to 16 September 2014 at Sharm El Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt and issued the following Declaration as a basic outcome of the Conference.

The Second Arab Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction was held from 14 to 16 September 2014 at Sharm El Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt under the patronage of H.E. the Egyptian Prime Minister and was kindly hosted by the South Sinai Governorate in coordination with the Egyptian Information and Decision Support Centre and the League of Arab States.

1. To support the candidacy of Mr. Farouk Hosny, Minister of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for the post of Director-General of UNESCO;

3. In the event that the two preceding options were rejected, the Commission proposed that meetings with institutions operating in the Gaza Strip should be held in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in order to hear testimony on human rights violations attributed to Palestinians in Gaza, and meet some of the victims of those violations.
3 - في حال رفض هذه الخيارات، اقترحت اللجنة أن تلتقي بالمؤسسات العاملة في قطاع غزة بجمهورية مصر العربية للاستماع إلى أقوالها حول الانتهاكات المنسوبة للفلسطينيين في غزة فضلا عن الالتقاء ببعض ضحايا انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان.

Drafting of the strategy's implementation programme and its adoption under resolution 7 of the 31st session of the AOAD Executive Council (Arab Republic of Egypt, 15 and 16 May 2007) which stipulates:

وإذ تشير كذلك إلى القرار رقم 1/6 الصادر عن الدورة السادسة للمؤتمر الإسلامي لوزراء الإعلام التي عقدت فـي القاهرة، بجمهورية مصر العربية يومي 7 و 8 محرّم 1424هـ (10 و 11 مارس 2003م) بشأن تنفيذ آليات الاستراتيجية الإعلامية للدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي،

Referring also to Resolution No. 1/6 adopted by the Sixth Session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, on 7-8 Muharram 1424H (10-11 March 2003) on implementing the Mechanisms of the Information Strategy of the OIC Member States;
وإذ تشير كذلك إلى القرار رقم 1/6 الصادر عن الدورة السادسة للمؤتمر الإسلامي لوزراء الإعلام التي عقدت فـي القاهرة، بجمهورية مصر العربية يومي 7 و 8 محرّم 1424هـ (10 و 11 آذار/مارس 2003م) بشأن تنفيذ آليات الاستراتيجية الإعلامية للدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي،

The Minister of International Cooperation of the Arab Republic of Egypt affirmed the Egyptian pledge of US$ 10,000,000 made at the Oslo Donors' Conference on the Sudan, in addition to the establishment of new projects to develop the electricity, water, agriculture and education (by opening a branch of the University of Alexandria in Juba) sectors in the Republic of the Sudan, particularly in the Southern Sudan.
وأكدت وزيرة التعاون الدولي بجمهورية مصر العربية التعهدات المصرية التي سبق تقديمها في مؤتمر أوسلو للمانحين وقدرها عشرة مليون دولار إضافة إلى إقامة مشروعات جديدة في مجال تنمية قطاعات الكهرباء والمياه والزراعة والتعليم (افتتاح فرع لجامعة الإسكندرية في جوبا) في جمهورية السودان وخاصةً الجنوب.

:: The participation of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty King and President of SCW, in the Luxor International Forum (Luxor, Arab Republic of Egypt, 10-12 December, 2010). The goal of the Forum was to boost international efforts to combat human trafficking and benefit from successful practice in this field.
:: مشاركة صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة سبيكة بنت إبراهيم آل خليفة، قرينة عاهل البلاد المفدى، رئيسة المجلس الأعلى للمرأة، في منتدى الأقصر الدولي، الذي انعقد في الأقصر بجمهورية مصر العربية في الفترة من 10 إلى 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010؛ بهدف مواصلة ودعم الجهود الدولية لمكافحة الاتجار بالبشر، والاستفادة من الممارسات الناجحة في هذا المجال.

the Egyptian competent authorities have encountered no unusual domestic difficulties in the aforementioned areas. That being said, they endeavour to strengthen their capacity using modern technology and to intensify international cooperation in order to overcome all the difficulties which arise in those areas.
