وإذ لا يزال يساوره بالغ القلق إزاء عدم إحراز تقدم على أرض الواقع في بعض حالات النـزاع المسلح التي لا تزال فيها أطراف النـزاع تنتهك دون عقاب الأحكام ذات الصلة من القانون الدولي المنطبق فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في النـزاع المسلح،

4. I propose that the Security Council urge armed groups to commit themselves to the child protection standards embodied in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol and in international humanitarian law regarding the rights and protection of children in times of armed conflict, and to accept and cooperate in the monitoring of adherence to those standards.
4 - وأقترح على مجلس الأمن أن يحث الجماعات المسلحة على الالتزام بمعايير حماية الطفل الواردة في اتفاقية حقوق الطفل وبروتوكولها الاختياري وفي القانون الدولي الإنساني فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في أوقات الصراع المسلح؛ وبقبول وتيسير رصد الالتزام بهذه المعايير والتعاون في هذا المجال.

" The Council expresses its intention, when establishing or renewing the mandate of relevant sanctions committees, to consider provisions pertaining to parties that are in violation of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict.
" ويعرب المجلس عن اعتزامه القيام، لدى إنشاء أو تجديد ولاية لجان الجزاءات المعنية، بالنظر في الأحكام المتعلقة بالأطراف التي تنتهك القانون الدولي الساري فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في النزاع المسلح.

(e) Expresses its intention, when establishing, modifying or renewing the mandate of relevant sanctions regimes, to consider including provisions pertaining to parties to armed conflict that engage in activities in violation of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict;
(هـ) يعرب عن اعتزامه النظر، عند إرساء ولاية نظم الجزاءات أو تعديلها أو تجديدها، في إدراج أحكام تتعلق بأطراف النـزاع المسلح التي تضطلع بأنشطة تنتهك القانون الدولي المنطبق فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في النـزاع المسلح؛

While noting the advances made for the protection of children affected by armed conflict, particularly in the areas of advocacy and the development of norms and standards, remaining deeply concerned over the lack of overall progress on the ground, where parties to conflict continue to violate with impunity the relevant provisions of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict,
وإذ يلاحظ التقدم المحرز لحماية الأطفال المتأثرين بالصراعات المسلحة لا سيما في مجالي الدعوة ووضع القواعد والمعايير، وإذ يظل يساوره عميق القلق من عدم تحقيق تقدم شامل على أرض الواقع، حيث ما برحت الأطراف المتصارعة تنتهك دونما عقاب الأحكام ذات الصلة للقانون الدولي المنطبق فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في الصراعات المسلحة،
