Achieved; the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption was adopted by the Parliament on June 2012 as a result of advocacy activities carried out during the Week of the Haitian Child
أُنجز؛ صدق البرلمان في حزيران/يونيه 2012 على اتفاقية لاهاي لعام 1993 المتعلقة بحماية الطفل والتعاون فيما يتصل بالتبني فيما بين البلدان، نتيجة لأنشطة الدعوة التي اضطُلِع بها خلال أسبوع الطفل الهايتي

Furthermore, the Committee recommends the State party to continue and enforce its anticorruption measures in order to combat sale of children for adoption by taking into account article 21 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, article 3 of the Optional Protocol and the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in respect of Intercountry Adoption.

In taking this position, UNHCR is guided not only by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, but also by the Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption and the recommendations concerning the Convention’s application to refugee children and other internally displaced children.
وتتخذ مفوضية اﻷمم المتحدة السامية لشؤون اللاجئين هذا الموقف غير مسترشدة باتفاقية حقوق الطفل فحسب، بل أيضا باتفاقية لاهاي المتعلقة بحماية الطفل والتعاون فيما يتعلق بالتبني فيما بين البلدان والتوصيات المتعلقة بتطبيق الاتفاقيات على اﻷطفال اللاجئين وغيرهم من اﻷطفال المشردين داخليا.

In this connection, the Committee wishes to encourage the Government of Paraguay to consider ratifying the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in respect of Intercountry Adoption of 1993 and concluding bilateral agreements with the countries of prospective adoptive parents.

54. While noting that the State party envisages developing an adoption policy and ratifying the Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Cooperation in respect of Intercountry Adoption, the Committee reiterates its concern about the absence of a central control mechanism and of procedures regarding domestic and intercountry adoptions.

At the legal and political levels: Guinea has ratified and promulgated many international legal instruments for the protection of children, in particular ILO Convention No. 182 on the Worst Forms of Child Labour; ILO Convention No. 138, the Minimum Age Convention; 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption; and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

In 2010, Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) recommended that Serbia ratify the 1993 Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Cooperation in respect of Intercountry Adoption; and the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (2007).
3- وفي عام 2010، أوصت لجنة حقوق الطفل بأن تصدق صربيا على اتفاقية لاهاي لعام 1993 المتعلقة بحماية الطفل والتعاون في مجال التبني على الصعيد الدولي؛ واتفاقية مجلس أوروبا المتعلقة بحماية الأطفال من الاستغلال والاعتداء الجنسيين (2007)(12).

(37) The Committee strongly recommends the State party to withdraw its declaration to article 3(1)(a)(ii) of the Optional Protocol and the reservation to article 21 of the Convention, and consider ratifying the 1993 Hague Convention No. 33 on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption.

Peru highlighted progress made by Liechtenstein since its first review, such as the ratification of the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness, the 1954 Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons and the Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Cooperation in respect of Intercountry Adoption, as well as the creation of the Ombuds Office for Children and Young People.
40- ونوّهت بيرو بالتقدم الذي أحرزته ليختنشتاين منذ الاستعراض الأول، مثل التصديق على اتفاقية عام 1961 بشأن تقليص حالات انعدام الجنسية واتفاقية عام 1954 المتعلقة بوضع الأشخاص عديمي الجنسية واتفاقية لاهاي المتعلقة بحماية الطفل والتعاون في مجال التبني على الصعيد الدولي، وكذلك إنشاء ديوان المظالم الخاص بالأطفال والشباب.

(25) The Committee, while welcoming the ratification of the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption in 2002, and the significant efforts of the State party to counter illegal adoptions, remains concerned that illegal and exploitative practices continue to exist in Bulgaria, especially concerning intercountry adoption.

The Committee is furthermore concerned at the weak capacity of the State party to monitor the adoption of children and regrets, in this regard, that the State party has not yet ratified the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption .
وتشعر اللجنة بالقلق أيضاً إزاء ضعف قدرات الدولة الطرف على رصد تبني الأطفال، وتأسف في هذا الخصوص لأن الدولة الطرف لم تصدّق بعد على اتفاقية لاهاي لعام 1993 المتعلقة بحماية الطفل والتعاون في مجال التبني على الصعيد الدولي.
